@@katia1239 The ads are all over youtube and shift all the time. That's the premise if you don't want to pay for the music/content. It's the same on Spotify and many other streaming sites. If you don't want to pay, you get ads instead. It's also how we as musicians and composers gets paid (very little) to do our art. A video like this takes months for me to make! First composing, recording, releasing, making art work etc etc. It's a lot of work and a lot of money invested. Please don't complain about ads when you listen to music for free.
I quite understand - I didn't know you got paid through the ads. What I don't quite understand, however, is why the ads are not placed between one number and another instead of right in the middle of the exercise. If I were the composer, I would be even more annoyed at these constant interruptions of my music, considering the money and work invested and the beauty of the pieces.
@@katia1239 Hi Kemble. I can see your point and that would definitely be the best solution for everybody. Like on Spotify - they would never place an add in the middle of a song! But RUclips doesn't work that way unfortunately and I myself have no control over where they place the adds. I think it's just random. My relationship with RUclips is very ambigious. On one hand I love the ability to control which songs I put up and which links and text I put in and it's very good for being found in Google for instance and get new listeners. On the other hand it's very very difficult to get paid for your work. Despite the adds and the tiny percent of "youTube music" subscribers RUclips is the platform that pays the least. :( Maybe a tenth of what Spotify pays to artists and that is already only a third of what Apple Music pays.... Sorry for the long write but I'm an 100% independent artist and very passionate about these things :) All the best, Soren
