When I was about seven years of age (just yesterday 😂), one of my grandparents motivated me to memorize last three ayahs (28,285, & 286 of surah Baqarah), which our soomro tribe (eleven homes), will listen to me reciting on every Eid day, before start their collective walk to visit everyone's home from 9 am to around 3 pm. They would take light refreshments each place and have lunch in between or at the end of the walk. At that time did not know the meaning, and not much (may be half the meaning), at the age 26 in 1976, (45 yrs ago), I stood up in the middle of the night and recited these, to BEG Allah swt to get me out of a very tough situation, with tears falling on floor (drip drip). Within three weeks (or less), I was pleasantly surprised with the amazing (respectable / honorable) results which has set me up on a unique "turning point" for rest of my life PERMANENTLY, with unique peace and confidence, regardless however many tough spots, difficulties, tragedies, losses or challenges I have encountered (there is a long list), since then, without losing my cool and peace of mind. - Maybe this is one of my reasons for having good health (medicine free today), Alhamdulillah. Of course, Allah swt knows best. Now that I know, not just the meaning but the background of these ayah's, the impact of these now (whenever I hear or recite) is even more severe and sweeter. For a long time I did not know that, unlike all of the Quran, these two ayahs were revealed to our beloved prophet S.A.W,S in the heavens when he, (SAWS) was escorted in the middle of the night to meet Allah swt. (The well known night journey). Hope this clip (which repeats these two ayah's many times, is of some help. Please keep me in your du'as for a better eemaan, minus Re3aa (SHOW-OFF)
