I just have to say this was so wonderful to watch. I'm sorry for the loss of your Mother. I'm going to bring my mom over to see this video because your mother looks so much like my grandmother, I think my Mom would love to see it! I love to make Assyrian food! Although my mother didn't marry an Assyrian I was closer to the Assyrian side of my family and ate Assyrian food often. My favorite is Dolma with grape leaves but cabbage and stuffed peppers are wonderful too. God bless!
@Hilda613 I understand how that is. I used to help my mom all the time with dolma and ect until she passed away . There are a lot of Assyrian dishes that I remember bits and pieces of but have been having my aunts show me how to make them. Watching this makes me remember the good times and oh how I mis them. Thanks so much for sharing

I was planning on making more, mom passed away in Dec. from cancer. I do plan on making videos of some of the more difficult recipes in my book. Thanks for your comment :)

Sorry to hear about your mom, Joe. 65 is so young. You are right, losing a mom is so hard. God bless you and your family!

Yes, we do 3 different types (grape leaves, cabbage leaves, and "dolma't ranjeh" mixed veggies).

tholma is not assyrian its actually greek... but Armenian Tholma is the best!
