- In this film breakdown, we take a look at Minnesota Vikings S Camryn Bynum, who is one of the most improved players in the NFL from 2022 to 2023. Last year, he was a liability in the secondary, and didn't look like a guy that would be with the Vikings long-term. But in 2023, he has been a great asset on the back end, hasn't allowed a touchdown, and is top-5 in PFF's coverage and defensive grades. His worst stats so far are yards per cover snap, but in reality, most of those yards happen when he's in off-coverage and the Vikings are blitzing.

Vikings got Bynum with a pick from the Diggs trade.
Nah really
Cam is my goat
He is good player
Bynum was better than the stats show last year. Donatell's defense left things wide open in front of Bynum last year. He was always the deep guy coming back to make the play. Under Flores He's put in man coverage or in a more aggressive zone in a position to attack the ball and make a play. He's definitely improved, but the scheme is a huge part of it. Donatell was too hung up on his system and wouldn't adjust his scheme to suit the players skillsets. Last years Vikings defense had talent, but many of the players were asked to do things that didn't fit their strengths resulting in a very bad defense overall.
Great video. Keep em coming
💪🏽
yess finally!! been waitng for a cam beezy vid
Nice vid breakdowns and assessment of the improvement concerning Cam. I hope he is recognized by being an All Pro if not yet this year hopefully soon!
Well done.
Great video ‼️
Would like to see how sustainable his play is
He's very good when allowed to be aggressive and rely on his instincts. Last year Donatell ran a very structured, shell coverage and didn't want people reacting and attacking plays. Flores is the exact opposite, attacking at any opportunity and accepting getting burned occasionally for being aggressive. Bynum fits great into Flores scheme.
Josh metellus is also a player who’s improved a ton this year
could you do a video on travon walker
