nước dừa is coconut water and nước cốt dừa is coconut cream. coconut water is what Viets use to cook meat in for that natural sweetness and natural meat tenderizer. Ugh I love broken rice too!
So many dishes over there that are not available here in the states even in Orange county CA where we have the largest VN population outside of Vietnam.
Max. Another great video. I'm starting to curate a list of all of these places so I can get into a food coma when I fly back to there later this year (or when covid is really over). You must have eat more variety of Vietnamese foods than 95% of the Vietnamese population.

I also like that the merchant uses the broken rice for Com Tam. It is the most suitable rice for the sweet and sour fish sauce.
