@@CharlesVeitch Thanks!
Going out early in the morning so you don’t get battered 😂
You could be filming any Town or City in the UK wherever you look it dirty run down and is in decline and most people don't care what state there area is in when you compare to most places in europe where places look clean and well kept !
If you squint your eyes and imagine it 6000 years from now when nature has taken it back then yes it is indeed beautiful.
Probably. Only 60years
It's like a show open for the office. Dreary, with a chance of an occasional smile.
Great soundtrack
WOW… Outstanding Charlie. I love your work anyway but this was extra special 👏👏👏
You did a bloody good job of making it look beautiful - the sunlight really helped.
I liked this! ill Hulton looks lovely. Sort of Homely.
When you came up to the graveyard with the old church and the sun was shining behind it that was beautiful haha
The desolate badlands of little hulton can inspire a man to greatness, the formula is simple, take one portion of despair add a cup of frustration and by a mysterious process of alchemy that uses frequently falling rainwater, we achieve a superman, a man who is strong, no obstacle stands in his way !
Christopher Eccleston is from LH
@@richardmorton4762 thought he was from near moss side
Wow fantastic imagry and accompanying music!! Great job!
Morning all! 😀 photons yeah!
4:16 The pigeon was even contemplating ending things
lol looks 100x nicer and less run down than where i live
Therers lots more greenery in LH but its hidden away in people's loft spaces - just ask me Julie 🏝️
It's always sunny in Little Hutton...
More of that autumnal 1.05 it was lovely to see that.,.
Loving the chillstep soundtrack
My name is pigeon and you're watching the Charlie Veitch channel
Great edit 👌😊
Video reminded me of “What’s he building in there?” Truly loved it
Is this a new style of an upload coz I love it 😀 very refreshing and relaxing 😌 more more more
looks great no high rises
They only just got electricity.
I used to live here for 13 years, its got such amazing culture and beautiful views ❤
I used to work with an older bloke who was born in little hulton he used to say it was a coal mining village and was now gutted all the people from Salford moved in. Spillabies we were called! He's now passed away, wonder what he would think of it today. It is now like an African village! Well top video Charlie, you should do some more, they pulled our old high school in 2009. Now they are building a new one! Wow. 👍
You need to come up to Glasgow for the COP26, good content and they have Manchester Police patrolling the streets of Glasgow.
And Greta ?
Your lucky, Manchester police don't patrol Manchester streets.
Yes the Manc police have gone up there on big bucks.
Little hulton I was born in the gutter!!! Listen to Jordan mccan on RUclips
Hulton dressed as Lamb
Music and pics brilliant!
To be honest your in the classier part of L/H
What is big hulton like?
Feeeeeeals. So cinematic. I love it!
That opening image was beautiful.
Derelict old buildings probably had lots of happy occasions, birthdays, Christmas, raising children etc.
You might as well video old castle ruins and say this is depressing.
Great music choice
Ah Little Hulton, the memories. My great-grandparents used to live there. They both departed the mortal coil many years ago and took up permanent residence in the graveyard you visited at 5:15.
God it needs some plants maybe a tomato plant or two.
Charlie really is the best RUclipsr, throws his face right in the action, shows us the things most of us don’t see on a daily basis, I disagreed with him only once a few years ago on his vid, but apart from that one time I usually agree with all he does
Charlie who plays that song in the background
Please see replies on pinned comment
Once went out with women called carmon in little Hulton . It was like the tv series shameless . Nice girl though bit moody but nice
Love this Charlie
Kinda reminded me of the song..this town is nothing but a ghost town...well done...
"People gettin angry" Great song.
@@suzansanchez1105 thanks .was not sure of the song title..but ye classic music...
You tried your best Charlie, even with perfect golden hour sunligh and your cinematic skills, it still looks depressing, all that decay, boarded up windows and dereliction, abandoned forgotten pockets of land, long forgotten repurposed pubs, the flooding, backed up blocked drains, even the council can't be arsed maintaining this shithole!
You can do your best to polish a turd but at the end of the day it's still a turd.
For a start nobody should be still living in all those back to back terraced houses that plague many of our towns and cities. They're damp, draughty, a thermal joke, horrendous for the planet, dangerous, depressing to live in, cramped and need demolishing NOW!
Shame on our government allowing that kind of housing still in 2021.
They should all have been knocked down in the 1950s and 1960s in my honest opinion.
The back-to-back homes in Little Hulton were all pulled down in the early 1960s and replaced with council houses and flats, soundly built and centrally heated. I should know - I was brought up there in the 1980s in a warm, clean flat rented from the local council, decently sized with three bedrooms.
Cool video man!... I enjoyed that ✌
Surprisingly good well done m8
excellent
Was that rant at the end about the lack of rouge tomato plants 🍅👍👍👍
2nd clip u was so close to my house
Where Happy Mondays hail from.
Such a generic town in the UK now. I feel like I know the place, although I've never been.
Let's be honest, your reason to visit was to collect that rather tasteful big cat to adorn your penthouse suite !
:)
Charlie can probably make my town look nice to. 😆
Looks a lil less tyrantie out today.
Keep up the great work man!
Little Hulton in bloom - i can see it now... 🤷
I spent many years in LH I went to Peel Hall Infants and Junior School and Hulton High School from 61 to 73 and moved to Walkden in 80 my mum and dad lived next to Peel Park on the Kenyon estate until they died. It was rough and made the TV prog Shameless look like Neighbours. I went travelling about 10 years ago and now iive darn sarf. I have no desire to go back right now.The premier shop on Cleggs Lane used to be the Raven Pub later called The Stumble In.The Enterprise car centre was a bank and then the Horseshoe pub I used to play darts for them . The red building opposite used to be the Co-Op. Cyns Tavern used to be the Town House Cafe the Mcolls store nearby was Hanburys Store. The old library building is still there opposite the site of Hulton High School which is now gone but I could not tell if its still a library. I still would not park my car on the car park behind the shops! The shops near the Iceland store used to be Seddons Builders Yard. There are some very old graves in Saint Pauls Peel churchyard and my nephews were christened there. Go back and have a walk around the estates Charlie if you dare! Really enjoy your vids they remind me just how much it rains there lol
Was Mr. Williamson teaching at Peel Hall when you were there? He was Headmaster during the 1980s, and he was a violent, bullying bastard.
@@mAiSiEbOOOO Hmmm hope Im remembering this right it was a long time ago! I think it was Mr Clark and Mrs Woods was head at the infants school when I was there. There was a woman teacher at juniors called Mrs Baker who was mostly great but even she used to slap you with a ruler on the back of your hand and another called Miss Nugent? who was a nightmare and a few of us wagged it to get away from her lol. Over at Hulton County there was Mr Shuker who threw board dusters at you Fred Elm who had a cane called Oscar Mr Proctor who you did not mess with or you got lifted off your feet by your sideburns Mr Knight who took us for tech drawing was a joke a music teacher whose name I cant remember who had a plimpsol with OW written on it backwards so when it hit your arse it read the right way. Mr Edge who always wore Jesus sandals to name a few Oh happy days lol
@@hymermobiler Mrs Woods was, by all accounts, a school teaching equivalent of Prisoner's Joan Ferguson, a violent, sadistic disciplinarian. I was told Mr. Williamson was the PT instructor at some point before he became headmaster. He had a nervous energy which could erupt into rage at the slightest provocation, and from what I saw and experienced, he was just as cruel as her. After I left, it was reported in the local news he was convicted of assaulting a pupil. He'd slapped this boy so hard his nose bled. Astonishing what some teachers thought they could get away with back then.
OOH YOU CAN ALMOST TASTE THE HUBRIS
Pop around and see Shaun Ryder he's from little Hilton.
Looks like around here,......must be an old mining town ?
I had to stop half way through, making me feel anxious 😟
that empty space at the begging had a abandoned building for ages but council wouldn't do anything, a girl was raped there and her family burned it down.
What was the music
Please see pinned comment
A place that had a reputation so bad that Shaun Ryder(Happy Mondays) had to get his passport changed to say Swinton as place of birth because Interpol and customs stopped and searched anyone with little hulton on a passport such was it’s reputation for crime all over Europe
Depressing Im so happy I emigrated to New Zealand 20 years ago.
Enjoying the endless lockdowns and two tier vaccination society?
Lip reading you at the end was the best part
He was basically explaining in detail the reasons why Little Hultonians called Lisa can't meditate whilst under the influence of a neurotoxin called fluoride and how Little Hultonians have turned the place into a soulless town due to a major spread of zombiefied sheepalien meatsticks on amphetamine and spice.
Jokes LV
❤️
was that peter sutcliffe near the shops?
Great intro Charlie
Can see how jordan can make such painful rap being from here
You should have played a Happy Mondays track, that's their neck of the woods.
griping video that
I can now reveal Charlie that Netflix filmed two doors down from the burnt out house the day after. I couldn’t tell you the other day. I thought that’s why you were there.
Cool
Any cb'ers from 80's remember Charlie 'Beano' the knicker sniffer or Buzzer from off rig...?
What’s the song Charlie?
If you look at a map of manchester its like a spiders web ,4 of the worst places in manchester Newton heath, wythenshaw, little hulton ,ordsel Estate . im 60 and lived in all of them .
NF remix?

Please see pinned comment at top. Both tracks listed as a response

Have you been randomly distributing tomato seeds again?
That place is sooooooo 70s.
Bet you wouldn’t do that when jorden and them lot are around or you would have got your self a clip
So weird that I imagined seeing you filming then you appear filming the burnt out house. Mad. I papped you.
Send me pap proof!
@@CharlesVeitch check the profile pic
@@CharlesVeitch where you filmed the burnt house. To your left is a door that’s a food bank. It has been heartbreaking watching people go there this morning. I have seen some people pulling up in 21 plate cars too using it. Surely abusing it?
come back
Nice one son....Great video....keep up the goooood work...and a shout out too my SWEET FANTASTIC.... YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE...XXX
Plenty of new builds in little hulton your just showing all the bad parts

In so many ways, watching someone die….so desolate, wasted. 😩🇦🇺
A bit of a dump Charlie but there were some nice parts but not much.Loved the soundtrack music very dystopian!!!!
Yo
Should be twinned with Royal Tunbridge Wells. So much in common.
