  • This is a cut from episode 3 of our Haro Sport restoration project. In this short piece we look at some of the variations in Haro Kneesaver bars, and help you identify the variation and possible model year of your bars.
    Like all things Mid School BMX, there are variations beyond what is covered in this video, however this guide is designed to give you the key indicators as to what model handlebars you have.

    Is it true that the 1999 ‘Hevron Bars’, without the knurling on the top bar, like that came on the Zippo, are hi-ten steal not full chromoly? So were lower quality and to go on cheaper bikes.

      Yes, by that stage Haro had the Mirra Pro bar and the Kneesaver 2 bar, so the regular kneesavers we only specced on entry models.
