Beautiful rifles. The Backcountry 2.0 left hand in 270 Weatherby is super interesting. Got to save up for it though lol.
Awesome line up! It is a pleasure to see the transformation of an iconic American rifle brand into an absolute top tier performer (particularly in my mind for the backcountry western hunter.)
Love the new innovations! Biggest weatherby fan there is here. I am really happy to see the new innovations going into the new lineups. As long as we are going away from Monte Carlo stocks, how about going away from just a standard action bolt. That way we do not have to worry about torque wrenches slipping so much...... Seems like a minor adjustment for a huge upgrade.

Wish shorter barrel options were available
@@joshuawarren6792 They are on non magnum calibers. You're wasting your time using the magnum calibers with a shorter barrel in most cases.

Awesome lineup with lots of options which is nice. There is only really one major issue. I dont know what that red is on the pistol grip cap but it does not belong there. The only thing that belongs there is a white diamond. Common Adam, lets keep some tradition and set your rifles apart from the rest on the gun racks again. Otherwise they just look cookie cutter like all the rest.$3,000-$4,000 rifle that looks like a $500 Savage.

Wouldn't know about how good the Backcountry is. I Shot 6 rounds to sight the scope in, took really hard jerks to get the cases out after shot. Figured it was a tight chamber, so did weatherby. Sent it back, they have had it for 2 months. Hand reamed the chamber in a few weeks, then sat on the gun for a month to refinish the bolt. Just called them and it's sitting there waiting to have the recoil pad replaced. They said it would be faster to replace the stock. They said that would be another 2 weeks. More than 2 weeks to replace a butt pad? I've done a few in my life, half day at best. 2 weeks for new stock? They said they would have to build the stock and inlet. They build each stock for each gun? They don't have inventory. Inlet? not a wood gun with hand or micro inletting. Can get even those done way faster than 2 weeks. Aluminum pillar bed by CNC machine. $2300, had it for a week, 6 shots and haven't seen it in 2 1/2 months. Should have stuck with Sako and will in the future. Very disappointed, customer service is dead in America. Probably really going to piss me off when i finally get it back and it still takes both hands to extract a case. Not really sure how their Q/C guys that shoot these miss that. kind of makes you wonder. Went away from weatherby few decades ago, not a good reunion..
Weatherby have the poorest customer service ever for selling one of the most expensive rifle. I had a floorplate replaced under warranty luckily didnt have to send in the rifle but that too took a long time. Took near 3 dang months to get a floorplate assembly with the trigger guard. Wrong part after wrong part and at one point they stopped replying to my emails as well. Commifornia is at it again implementing new laws tacking on new sinful gun taxes and i want to buy a backcountry 2.0 ti but my past experience has tainted my thoughts on buying another weatherby.
Waiting for my Backcountry 2.0 Carbon in 280AI. I own a Backcountry Ti in 6.5-300, only gripe is the recoil pad. 🍻 🇨🇦

@Dubya I got told they wasn’t going to build the orders until they got to 100 pre orders.
@Dubya can’t get any barrels from bsf. Supposedly have to order a 100 at a time what they say.
May be a dumb question but these come with an accuracy guarantee? I never have looked at, nor into Weatherby's.
They're all guaranteed to shoot sub-MOA, and you can also pay a little more to have it certified and shot by someone at Weatherby to confirm your individual gun!
