I am 48yrs old and i have seen a lot of shows in my lifetime so far. This show here is and was a great show. My oldest son, i though he would love it and i think he made it through season 1. It might be due to me being married, burying both of my parents and 1 of my brkthers, this ending hit me like a ton of bricks. I must have cried for 20 mins watching the ending. I am not mad at how they ended it, i am happy. This was by far the best ending of any series ive watched. Sorry this was long, take care and peace out.
And when they said "Truth, Justice & a better tomorrow." That is from the comics, not here. They officially revamped the saying a couple of years ago, and I love it!
One of the Sons is from Grimm, his name is David Giuntol, he plays the main role in that show. its interesting because Lois (Bitsie Tulloch) was also on that show, she played a major role as Juliette / Eve.
Grown-up Jonathan (the longer haired one, since I also mixed them up at first) is played by David Giuntoli, Bitsie Tulloch's husband and costar on Grimm. He also directed 4x03 of this show.
Absolute perfection. Writing and performances that really make you care about the characters and draw out that emotion which makes this one of the best series finales ever. Special shout out to the composer for the series with just a stellar score throughout the show and never was it better than here.
I love this ending for Supes. In the comics, Supes in many stories lives until the end of the universe. I think it's a fact that Prime Supes will live that long. That's such a harsh burden to carry. A sad one. Living for eons. Watching all your love ones and living beings die until you're completely alone. In this ending, he lives a beautiful fulfilling life and gets united with his love ones in the end. Very human, which Clark treasures with all his heart. This show was an amazing experience. Im glad we got to experience a true Superman show that embodies everything that makes him a timeless character.
Kyle and Lana dancing one last time makes sense. They have been through earth shattering events together. They face death. It makes their relationship more complicated. They aten't mad at each other and have truly moved on. And John Henry isn't going to be jealous of Kyle.
11:47 it's also amazing as through the fury he had to calculate the amount of force it would take to stabilize the suit and not kill Lex in the process. He could easily have punched a hole right through him, just as he could've let him drop to his death. But that's not Superman.
Your description on how it felt unfair was so perfectly said. Most of these other shows get at least six seasons and don’t deserve them. I am just so curious to see what they could’ve done with three more seasons.
Supernatual is one the comes to mind where it extended its welcome wayy past its expiration date. I will say that even though it was cut short, they gave us the perfect last season.
One thing alot of hospitals and hospice nurses say, is minutes before the patient dies, they raise their arms up and call out the name of their loved ones. As if their deceased loved ones is waiting to carry them to the other side.
Fraternal just refers to brothers. In a fraternity they are your 'brothers'. S&L writers are def referencing Marvel's Eternals by having the brothers call themselves that though
The boys are fraternal twins, which are the result of two separate eggs being fertilized by two different sperm cells during the same pregnancy: Fraternal twins can be the same or different sexes, and may not look alike.
@ it would be amazing if Sarah came back to Smallville and started with their friendship, then getting married, kind of like season 1 started of as friends and then dating, it’s coming full circle🥹
That’s how you do a series finale, wrap up the storylines in a satisfying way, and then wrap up the characters, this was a perfect ending.

Ditto and I'm 55. I don't recall a better ending of any show to be honest.

It shouldn’t be American way. Cause the American way is anything but heroic or the right way in any way
@@Jay-sj3ioRight. Superman is the world’s hero, not just America.

You know they're married right ? Since 2017. So either Elizabeth Tulloch doing hubby a favour or him doing her one :).
Grown-up Jonathan (the longer haired one, since I also mixed them up at first) is played by David Giuntoli, Bitsie Tulloch's husband and costar on Grimm. He also directed 4x03 of this show.
And voiced Batman twice
And I am pretty sure he tried for a superman part to I cannot remember which one though.
I thought i was the only one that clocked that 😂 i wonder what the set of that scene was like

That hammer to his head knocked some sense into Doomsday

This is an all around beautiful show, truly.

I would say the Flash shouldn't have lasted as long either. That finale was horrendous. Glad Superman and Lois did it right.
The dog that was krypto is actually the same dog that tom welling had in smallville fun fact
Stfu really like the actual dog or it’s the same kind of
amazing show, i will miss it too much!
that's how you do a finale
I Agree with You 110% Brother 🥰 Best Superman Show Ever
Heartbroken 💔💔💔
The guy who played older Jonathan was played by Bitsies husband
One of the sons looks familiar as it's Bitsie's real life husband/co-star from Grimm

I would probably say it’s heavily implied that Jordan did end up with Sarah, even though it’s not told to us
Yea and Jon ends up with Candice we assume but its not told 😢

@@brianwilcox1686 That would be awesome maybe one day we can have a spin off series with the supee boys and thier wives 😄
Older Jonathan is Bitsie's ( Lois) husband
My man, you need to train your empathy
Fraternal twins are twins that are not identical, coming from 2 eggs and 2 sperm
Reaction is too brain dead for me to watch past the first five minutes ✌🏽💀
And grown Jordan is Bitsie Tulloch real husband. The guy from their old show GRIMM.
It’s unfortunate but Lois’ death is real tho
It was anticlimactic...but as you saw with the CG and the basic fight they already had....this was a budget issue.
Idk what rough cgi you were watching
The way Doomsday gets defeated is kinda wonky.....at least now I can delete this CW app
