Scorpion is closing permantely on September 2nd, 2024. We got the news on August 23rd, and in this little video. I'll show you all my thoughts of it closing.

This doesn't surprise me considering that the park has recently been removing the coasters that are outdated and unpopular with guests. What does surprise me is how people kept predicting that Kumba would be the next coaster to go and have been overlooking this.

They might demolish kumba and rebuild the coaster by having newly painted supports and track pieces and also renaming the coaster Kumba Reborn but the coaster wouldn’t roar anymore and that is because of the support material but replacing the Over the shoulder restraints with Vest restraints for zero head banging
