Stay tuned for more crazy!
With how much is going on in that room I think it’s time to black out the walls ceilings and trim!
7 videos in and I'm still waiting for a sound demo
you'll still be waiting then lol
I get your point, but still... they look so ugly that I would sacrifice some of the sound quality for something pleasant to look at. I can't judge the quality and personal preference but I don't expect there isn't anything else that sounds similar and even better at the similar price range but much more pleasant to look at.
Exactly what I have in mind. I bet those JTRs sound awesome. Though IMHO, those speakers should be behind a wall or projector screen.
I still like the comment about it looking like a 14 year olds wet dream 😂
this is the setup for someone who watches tv with a helmet
I think it is a nice system but man they sure are BIG and in your FACE. I am not sure it is something I'd want.
Then don’t buy it…
Wow... must be amazing. Nice to be able to upgrade and upgrade and spend these amounts of money. Grtz
I genuinely can’t see how anything but a projector throwing at least 180” is going to suite that awesome sound setup. Get shopping bro, a new rabbit warren for you, you’ll love it
Matt just a heads up.. Apple TV does not support lossless audio on Apple music/Tidal etc. It's a limitation of the Apple TV hardware. It was the only reason I went with an Nvidia shield on my HT system, it supports 192KHz lossless as well as TrueHD for Atmos, Apple TV does not...
Why are there always comments about crappy Hisense tvs?? Are they Chinese bots targeting OG viewers via the comments lmao. Check the previous few vids they are all there too...
Punt that Hisense in the trash bro
Also, I would definitely downgrade the lighting. I would do more theater style lighting with small projector style lights that are automated in conjunction with the theater so when you start a movie, the lights dim down automatically and you have a blackout ceiling.
Nice setup
I hate to lead you down the rabbit hole again but..... I just installed 4 300 watt dayton audio bass shakers to the frame of my couch and it was a game changer. Felt like my subwoofer was 4x larger. Those 4 subs could be replaced by the bass shakers no problem and would be invisible and far less expensive. Your setup is EPIC!!! well done!!
Bass shakers are a good choice when near field subwoofers are not feasible, but they cannot replicate the overall sense of impact and pressurization, as well helping out overall with the bass frequency response as compared to nearfield subs. I just made the switch from 2 dayton bst-300ex transducers in my couch to nearfiled subwoofers, and it's a big upgrade.
If you go with a projector, would you consider Carbon Black from Screen Innovation? I haven't really seen anyone on RUclips use it yet.
Like you all, I purchased the AV 10 and the Dirac with multi-sub calibration. I want it professionally calibrated. Who did you all use for calibration? Oh, I reside in the ATL area. Thanks.
Place looks really good but to spend that much on speakers only to have a LG C1 to look at? I heard what you said at the beginning but still. Also, you hit it on the head with those speakers looking like something DJ’s would use.
it's a lg g2 not a c1 best picture in the business
@ where did you come up with it being a g2? It’s a c1 my friend. Also, even if it were a g2 that wouldn’t be close to “the best picture in the business”. Not saying it’s a bad one but definitely not the best.
I think it's a C2. Hopefully my memory hasn't failed me. The 1st one was delivered with a cracked screen.
I agree. I also feel like the screen is a bit small for a "home theater," dedicated or not. Especially for the viewing distance of the head-on section of the couch, which would be the ideal viewing angle. Then again, I like my screens comically large for any space, so maybe it's just me. At least the sound system is great and the TV is a proper height (and not mounted at the damn ceiling like so many people do these days for no good reason other than keeping their chiropractors in business.) Just seems odd to skimp on the screen when putting this much into the setup.
Check out the amp 10 you can bridge the front and get 800 watts to LCR and still have 10 channels left to run the other channels
Wish the center cabinet doors would open and slide back into the cabinet instead of leaving the doors open while using.
I have a super budget friendly room yet sit 9’ away from a 115” screen. You could’ve cut some cost on cables and a few other things and would’ve broken even on a projector and screen. 👻. I think you just don’t like projectors.
Yeah, you need a 98" TV in that room. ( Or larger. )
Looks insane. I love my OLED but I wonder what that 110” Hisense ULED would look like in there.
OG needs to develop an installable soundproofing. Think slatwall but for acoustics.
Boy the face of that center channel speaker is about the same size as thst TV...
Would you ever consider casually hunting for a deal on a used low hour projector? Yeah it’s not brand new but if you save 10-15 grand off 30 it might make it seem more reasonable. Especially now that laser projectors have 10s of thousands of hours of bulb life vs hundreds of hours with lamp tech. It might make doing a nice screen and kaleidescape practically free.
Can’t imagine the feeling of sitting smack in the middle of that couch
Why not split the rears with 4 sub outs?
I could never do a projector after having an oled i think the next TV for me will be a 110inch hisense UX it has over 10000 dimmable zones and no blooming decent viewing angles I think its the closest one can get to oled with a decent price and size .
@@e4superfly Hisense 110” isn’t oled though?
Those speakers are ugly AF. I dont care how good they sound. They look like Monoprice specials!
All that and the smallest TV on earth. weird
He's much more interested in the quality of the picture than the size of it.
What a kindergarten comment
83 is the smallest tv on earth? Get a grip.
@@adamsanford8295 then why not go with Sony oled or even a lg g series?
Not trying to rain on our parade but the market dropped 1k points.
And interest rates are not dropping. Unless home building ticks up. I think winter is coming for the discretionary home theater market.
I am going to diagree a lot of home theater products are sold out or there is a wait list.
@@srincomptr Lets check with ListenUp and Audio Advice year or year revenue since the peak of Home theater sales cycle 2021 - 2022.
The dow isn’t the economy.. and the fed lowered rates today by another quarter.
The Fed is going to pull back on rate cuts. That's the primary reason the Dow fell. Yep, bad day for financial markets.
