    ❤ S e r i o u s l y, thank you family‼️💯💯📖 totally schooled 🎒 me...
    I orginally was thinking length wise...
    The way you included the expenses really opened my eyes... Bless you. 😘
    -----
    Would you also do a video on how to incorporate the length of braids with pricing? Or would you say you just incorporated the per min pricing ?
    Either way I would like to see this live ❤❤

    • @hairbylarose
      @hairbylarose  8 месяцев назад +2

      Once you learn how long it takes you for each length then add them as add ons by pricing your time & extra products needed for the length. For the lengths different size braids will take you different time frames and use more hair so you want to know your time for 6 braids vs 150 braids and how much more hair. Then you use the add on section I have another video on how to increase your prices with add ons I’ll link it.
      Like if I braided 6 braids to butt length may only take me 20-30 mins and 1 pack of hair vs a set of small box braids may take me an extra 2 hrs and 30 mins to braid them down to butt length and may need more hair you don’t want to charge the same just because it’s butt length so using the add on doesn’t over crowd your booking site.

      @@hairbylarose Thank you. I will look out for it. Some clients don't know the hassle and work it takes for a Hairstylist and when you charge, they wonder what's the price for. Thank you again.

    How can slow raiders apply this method? I'm a slow braided but I do a good job with my styles and feel guilty charging high like everyone. For instance I charge $180 for medium knotless waist length with hair included and it takes me 8 hours.

    • @hairbylarose
      @hairbylarose  Год назад +7

      It depends on a couple things.
      1.) The quality of work
      2.) Your license or licenses
      3.) What's causing you to take 8 hours
      Regardless you would be able to still apply this with braiding slow. If it comes to a price you are uncomfortable with but you still feel it is too much work for the price you are currently charging absolutely stop offering the service.
      Me personally I feel $180 is way too low. I understand you feel bad for taking 8 hours but it's not worth it. You could make more in less time offering something like crochets or stitch braids.

    This video kinda landed in my lap or maybe God allowed me to access it by accident and I’m so glad I did. I’m picking up doing hair again after having lost my fervor for it for a long time and I’m a newly single mother of 6 kids with different schedules and one is a baby and I need to make money without the fear of losing employment bc I have to be a mother first. Thank you for sharing this wisdom.❤

      Yes this was why I chose to become a stylist full time my son was sick and the job I worked for was giving me ultimatums and I wanted to be with my son and needed to provide for them so this is where I landed. If you have questions and things along the way feel free to reach out. Instagram or Facebook is usually better to message. The page links are always in my descriptions.
