Watching this race again a day later, I suddenly noticed the enormous amount of footprints around the course. A subtle reminder of the immense amount of effort our hosts go to when they're setting up these races. Thank you for another very enjoyable video.

I had a simple wooden marble run as a child that I would race marbles on for hours, and to see you do something like this gives me the same thrill I got back then. Red Number 3 does me proud! I've been an adoring fan from the first. And then I have a good laugh at myself for getting attached to a marble rolling down a hill! Sixty odd years ago I put my marbles into a large stainless steel bowl and rolled them (like sloshing the bowl) around and around, watching marbles pass and repass and rise and drop along the sides... The sound was hypnotic. Must have driven my mother crazy! I might have been three years old at the time. And yes, I had favorites. GO RED #3!!

MOSTLY one doesn't notice the age advancing, some things get easier, a lot of things get harder and once attrition sets in it can get kind of lonely because there are fewer people to reminisce with, no one to ask about details ("What was the name of...?").

Red #3 showed he was in form in race 1 after passing nearly the entire field after an unlucky start. This time he showed what he can do with a clear track, pulling free and never looking back. He'll be back on top at the end of the season!
Red Number 3! WHAT A LEGEND! Woah! Also, his was the BEST COURSE in a long while! It had a lot of dramatic turns and dangerous spots were marbles could pass each other! Those hairpin turns and split paths were great! More like this please!

Red number 3 is such a tremendous athlete, but you can tell he struggles on the narrow slaloms. He's definitely built for sprints and straightaways! Keep up the practice, Red No. 3!!
I liked the stick that the marble's were bounding off of at 1:58, where the sign was. I don't know if suggestions are being taken, but I think it might be interesting to see more of that, as a chance for some marbles to take the bounce better than others and switch up the race a bit. Still, great race, RN3 had a great showing

To all the ones saying RN3 is illegal,i prepared the following report foe you: After precise observation,its found that rn3 has the exact same weight and size as his opponents thus its power to weight ratio gives him no advantage,then comes the different material.Well other marbles are primarily made of glass and i cannot think that rn3 could be made of a material slippier than that and even so,you have to realise that he is a sand rally racer,extra slipperiness would only do harm as he would go over turns and crash all the time.Vice versa if he were rougher,it would make him slower in straight paths.Now i have precisely observed that rn3 has made both turn and straight overtakes.Now we come to the possibility of hardness and thus bounce,it is very clear that rn3 is the exact same as others in such terms if you see any race,in any isolated turn,rn3 takes the exact racing line as others.Finally the hole which caused a lot of rumours,well a hole ,no matter small or big,would cause a disbalance in his centre of gravity and thus make him turbulent and give him a major disadvantage and yet it does not stop him.Its a simple conclusion-HE'S JUST THAT GOOD.ITS ALL PURE HARDWORK AND SKILL.

I had high hopes for my boy Slimer at the start, unfortunately just got worse as the race went on. Still managed to hold on to a top 10 finish though! #SLI
The legend of RN3 continues. I now feel that he was talking it easy in the first race going from 13th to 5th with ease and this one he just flipped off the field while running down the course. Can the Oceanics somehow recruit him to be our coach for the next Olympics? We need some help.
RN3 really showing his pedigree. At one stage Black Knight was looking challenging, but RN3 simply went in another gear and showed why he is the favourite.
So I know it makes sense not to root for Red Number 3 or Ghost Plasma or whatever because they had their chance in the spotlight, but I like the idea of marbles/teams that have won before winning again, because it creates this illusion that certain marbles/teams are consistently good. That makes the games feel more realistic -- like there are genuine underdogs and frontrunners, even though the odds of any marble winning or (nearly) identical to any other marble. So, GO RED NUMBER 3!!!
Quicksilver got a scuffed start in this one; he got bounced into the little rock holding the starter marble's nail thing and had to catch up from the back of the pile. Unlucky. I'm okay with 9th place after that though. Made some good moves in the middle section. Our time will come!
Ayrton Senna used to say that a good tactic for maintaining first position is to emotionally destabilize second place. How did he do that? Slowing down, letting the opponent get close and then stepping in again to overwhelmingly open long advantage. Red N3 apparently learned this technique with mastery! XD
Red number three has been my ball from the first ever sand marble rally he was in. I didn't choose him because he has won a few in the past but I'm really glad to see him up there for this year!!

So I know it makes sense not to root for Red Number 3 or Ghost Plasma or whatever because they had their chance in the spotlight, but I like the idea of marbles/teams that have won before winning again, because it creates this illusion that certain marbles/teams are consistently good. That makes the games feel more realistic -- like there are genuine underdogs and frontrunners, even though the odds of any marble winning or (nearly) identical to any other marble. So, GO RED NUMBER 3!!!

Quicksilver got a scuffed start in this one; he got bounced into the little rock holding the starter marble's nail thing and had to catch up from the back of the pile. Unlucky. I'm okay with 9th place after that though. Made some good moves in the middle section. Our time will come!
Ayrton Senna used to say that a good tactic for maintaining first position is to emotionally destabilize second place. How did he do that? Slowing down, letting the opponent get close and then stepping in again to overwhelmingly open long advantage. Red N3 apparently learned this technique with mastery! XD
Red number three has been my ball from the first ever sand marble rally he was in. I didn't choose him because he has won a few in the past but I'm really glad to see him up there for this year!!
