yeah, but sadly, Joe didn't figure anything out from this conversation. he probably went home telling his wife that Dalio just wouldn't listen to his point. hahaha. self aggrandizing moron.
Please, don't interrupt your guests. Try to seem interested when he answers your questions. Especially with ray dalio. When he speaks, I tent to listen.
sometimes anchors interrupt when they feel the guest is about to say something important that they don't want the viewers to hear. It's apparent that the old anchor dislikes every word the guest is saying perhaps this anchor has lots of assets everywhere and doesn't want to hear the fact that he's about to lose them.
Marilyn D.A. - Andrew is good. Becky started off the rude behavior buy holding up her hand to Ray. Then Joe was an ass. It should just be Andrew 1:1 with distinguished guests like this.
eM right? I mean holy crap one of the smartest people on the planet I feel like, worth billions and you interrupt him. Very humble in the fact that he had every right to berate them for rudeness and he didn’t.
Does anyone know an interview where Ray is respected enough not to be interrupted like this? My hats off to him for not losing his temper.....again and again.
He rambles on too much. It's not a Ted talk it's a panel which has questions too. His story is a broken record and they are trying to relate things to current situation and he never gives a straight answer, just continues his story from where he paused.
@@pdstm Unfortunately you don't know what you're talking about. What seems to you like a broken record is in actuality him trying to explain that the Capitalism system is a system that has cycles that repeat again and again by design. It's quite predictable. You're welcome!
Nadeem Batt obviously you don’t understand the depth of what he’s talking about. It seems like you just want a buy/sell recommendation or a definite answer on market timing like the hosts do, but the only certainty is that no one knows for certain so these questions are ridiculous.
And this is why I don’t watch CNBC. You have one of the greatest minds in finance on your station and all your hosts are doing is interrupting him and talking over him. Let the man speak! Let him share his wisdom! I’ll take Real Vision over this garbage any day.
The dude on the right had it written on his face from the beginning... nervous, so is over compensating like crazy by trying to sound smart next to Ray Dalio. Shutting up would probably have been the better option. He probably had no idea ehat ray was even talking about..
Always love hearing Ray Dalio's thoughts and message, just really wished these people would stop interrupting him… it's literally 3 against 1 and he's not being allowed to finish his sentences.
Ray Dalio has his crowd and personal psychology down. That's what makes him so good at reading markets. He knows people and how they behave. You can't predict where prices are going to go with certainty, but you can predict with pretty high accuracy what people are likely to do and extrapolate the consequences from that
In reality he just knows how the Capitalism system works (booms & busts by design). The cycle repeats itself again and again and it's quite predictable.
It be great if Ray Dalio comes on and be interviewed by another asset manager, a praticioner in the subject. I believe there be a more insightful discussion. These anchors are just not able to spark a meaningful dialogue, no offense.
Wonder if the leadership at NBC .. ever watch these anchors perform. Why have Ray on the show when you dont want to listen to what he has to say. Ray is better off doing a podcast.... a better use of this time. Ray is clearly irritated ..
Thank you teachers( Mr. Dalio and Mr. Buffett and other teachers) for taking your time to share this useful data! Greatly appreciated. Absolutely agree with Lucas Peters comment!!!!
Ray is very patient in the interview. But the basis of any interview is to allow the interviewee to speak. When Ray is speaking, you really need to shut up.
I so wanted to listen to this interview - love Ray Dalio's explanations, but I had to leave at 12 minutes, as I couldn't stand the anchors cutting him off and leaving his explanations incomplete. So Rude, So Ignorant!
Notice how the men start hugging themselves, after Ray begins explaining the state of the economy, first the young guy 2:37 This is a physical and visual expression of the energy they are feeling which is fear. Also vocally expressed by the elder man 🌱 We'll be good as long as our beautiful planets stands there is always a place to call home 😍❤️
Profound answers to what is inevitable... and of course as he explains the cycle of human nature.... downloaded the book to understand even deeper... I wish he was not interrupted as much so he could explain thoroughly...
It seems like we are living in a world that even rich people can't speak the truth publicly, you'd think those things are reserved only for the lower part of the society.
A year late, but still most worthwhile to hear the comprehensive understanding / well thought out and informed perspectives Ray Dalio brings to this discussion. Best I have encountered, and I have been reading / listening to many related discussions during the past year.
Thumbs up for Ray Dalio’s incredible insight. Thumbs down for the constant interrupting by the hosts. When you invite a legend to your show please give due respect.
They don't understand what Ray is sharing with them and not only that, the parts that they do understand, they don't like hearing. I loved Ray telling them he's not interested in hurt feelings but reality. He is invited over to share what he has learned, not to be told off because his learned knowledge hurts their feelings. What a disgrace to the standard of televised journalism.. I think Ray deserves kudos for being so patient with these folks and setting a standard here.
Of all complain about interruption, i have to admit that interview was done pretty smoothly. We got far worse examples in the past, now its level up. Thank You for sharing guys.
Downturns are inevitable. We get greedy during the up cycle and fail to properly prepare depending on each time horizon. If youre 70 years old, you better be in cash. If your 25, dollar cost average your investments for the long term. You'll buy more at low prices and less at high prices. Right now, on almost every metric the market is way over-valued. None of the talking heads except stockman wan to come right out and say it. Trump is trying to move the economy forward......but it might hyper inflate the latest bubble. Nice work tackling trade imbalances.
problem when youre 70 is i still have like 15 years, hopefully, plenty of time for inflation to take away 5. i hold tips and recommend them to every other senior out there
There is nothing wrong with capitalism if you leave it alone.Quit telling telling me an asset is 100 million when it's worth a dollar. In other words let the market sort this out.
I do love to hear speaking to Ray Dalio. He is very down to earth. It is very simple his saying: Government has to invest heavily on education and wait a generation to get the best results for the economy. He is very clear about inequality and government has to fix that very wrong way to get a sustainable and growing economy. The hardest issue is to deal with the biggest and cheapest workforce on earth: china. Ray must be the best president ever of the USA if he runs for.
I offered to Ray Dalio, in a personal and business conversation several years ago, that we could use the massive treasures of salvageable materials in the vast cities and rural areas to create meaningful education for kids to learn how to make sustainable houses like the Tiny Texas Houses I was contracted to design and build for his Retreat Estate in the Northeast. At the time it was not clear that he wanted to use the massive assets being deleveraged to prop up the education, training, housing, and redevelopment of our country without depending upon global corporations, importing our way into deeper debt, and the failure to educate our children in meaningful life skilled ways rather than have them become disengaged with our system that was collapsing. He would not listen, considered me a threat to the security of his world, and we canceled the deal to build him three Organic Sustainable 95% Pure Salvage built houses rather than speak up for this empowering solution set that is available through a Pure Salvage Living Industry becoming part of our society. The Poem a One Ray Dallies On by Darby Lettick is about that hope he would step up to giving this industry the recognition that will allow this revolution in thinking and building to happen as we downsize the nation from wasteful living to eating and living more healthy lives. We will see.
22:52 about 1500 people did, first being Dr. Michael Burry, second Seth Klarman in his 2005 letter to investors. Many many many people did warn about credit crunch. Warren Buffett did in February 2008 and the list goes on.
@10:15 "I didn't' ask if you were sad"... savage moment. Love Ray Dalio
He is trying to tell Joe he is just a talking head and to shut up!

Joe is the worst! I get so mad when they put Joe on with someone like Ray or Buffett.
goodfellabeats me too. I think it is disrespectful.
CNBC should really fire Joe.. He is an absolute disaster - no etiquette, rude and makes the most crazy comments i have seen. CNBC - Are you listening?
Joe should be fired. Way past his prime. I guess CNBC keeps him around to have a older rude loudmouth.
Hope they read this too
Why are you interrupting him at every opportunity? What kind of homes were you raised in? Never seen anything more rude from a news network.

speaking too much truth for CNBC
30 seconds? He can’t last 5 seconds
“I didn’t ask if you’re sad.” - How a CNBC anchor gets subtly but epically owned by one of the greatest hedge fund managers in history

Great idea
Only if Joe Rogan ask good questions!
Tunitgreen lmao, I’m lost?
Joe "dude have you done psychadelics?" Rogan. Ray "no" Dalio that why I have 18 BILLION DOLLARS and you don't.

Omg, as I continue to watch this I hope Ray NEVER does this crappy show again. These pompous disrespectful “hosts” should be fired

It's obvious from all of Ray's comment sections with interviews that they really don't want him tell people the truth.
Exactly, that's because the market would be spooked right off the bat since it's so volatile.
