Kangsta CoasT Kang... whats your point.. btw fuck stats he was doing this against PRIME Magic, Larry, Barkley. Just to name a few.. nobody was stopping MJ...
Kangsta CoasT dude just stop you keep proving what a fucking idiot you are. What let me guess MJ broke your heart by beating your favorite team too. Fact is MJ average 50% fg shooting for a career. And can't shoot? Damn you a clown.
Kangsta CoasT whatever you're on,, you need to stop. is affecting your brain bruh.. Mj never left the bulls to win a title like lebron did and jordan never EVER choke in the finals like lb did.
That look on MJs face every drive is like he's charging in to war. Like his life depends on getting that ball, in that hoop nothing else. That level of sheer willpower and intensity is unmatched in sports
Michael Jeffery Jordan. skill, theatrics, showmanship, leadership....total package. I miss watching him dominate the court on television. rarely did he have a bad night. just a privilage to watch. MJ all the way.
Watching Jordan play live is like what it must have been like to watch Muhammad Ali, Babe Ruth or Jim Brown. I'm glad I got the chance to witness real greatness.
Michael Jordan played 35 career NBA Finals games. He averaged 33.6 points in those 35 games and never scored less than 22 in any one game. Michael's highest scoring Finals game was 55 points. He never faced elimination in any of the 6 series he played in, and he won 6 titles and 6 Finals MVP's in 6 tries. LeBron James has played in 27 career NBA Finals games. He averaged 24.2 points in those 27 games, and he has scored less than 20 points in 7 of the games including an 8 point outing in game 4 of the 2011 Finals. James' career high Finals game is 37 points. LeBron has faced elimination 4 times in 5 series and he is 1-3 in elimination Finals games. LeBron won 2 titles in 5 tries and has been named Finals MVP 2 out of 5 times. Michael Jordan's best statistical season was 1988-89. He averaged 32.5 points, 8.0 assists, and 8.0 rebounds. LeBron James' best statistical season was 2007-08. He averaged 30.0 points, 7.2 assists, and 7.9 rebounds. Michael Jordan averaged 30 ppg or more in 8 seasons including a career high in 1986-87 of 37.1 ppg LeBron James has averaged 30 ppg or more in 2 NBA seasons including a career high in 2005-06 of 31.4 ppg WHY IS G.O.A.T. EVEN DEBATED BETWEEN THESE TWO???
People need to stop comparing these players like Lebron, Kobe, Curry etc to Jordan. It's silly. They need to be compared against each other. They are not even close to Jordan.
Lebron was always considered a great player as a kid growing up and in high school. He was being recruited by NBA teams while playing in high school and the AAU. He was offered a massive Nike deal before playing one second in the NBA. He was on ESPN and the cover of SI before even knowing what NBA team he was going to play for. That is why he didn't need to go to college. He never had to go out and get or earn any of it, people were coming to him with these things. Jordan, on the other hand was cut from his fucking high school varsity team. He had to earn that. He was recruited by several colleges and went on to become a star athlete at UNC winning a National Championsihp. He earned that, too by hitting the game winner in the final. Two teams passed him over in the NBA draft. He didn't come into the NBA already being considered a star player with other NBA star player's phone numbers in his rolodex like James did. He had to earn his place as a superstar by scoring 63 points in a playoff game against the legendary Celtics. He had to earn that Nike deal and that Wheaties deal by jumping from the free throw line and slamming it down in the dunk contest and winning an Olympic Gold back when the players were all amateurs. He didn't leave the Bulls to go play with Barkley or Magic or Ewing, he used what he had in Chicago and earned his championships himself. Maybe that is why MJ never lost on the sport's biggest stages like the Olympics and the Finals unlike Lebron who didn't have to work as hard to get to those stages. You can't compare a kid who was literally handed everything since he was a teenager to a man who earned everything he has on his own. Lebron is going to be remembered as the welfare superstar when compared to MJ now and forever.
Matthew Hakun compared to MJ, yes, everything was handed to him by servants on a silver platter without him having to lift a finger. One has to look no further than the two players' Nike deals. Did Jordan land a $100+ million Nike deal as a high school kid? Yeah, I don't remember that either.
Leo Nast LeBron worked hard no doubt. It's just that Nike, the NBA and many other parties saw his potential and capability as a player, and ensured the deals would be made for mutual benefit. Jay argues that Jordan had to work for his success when no-one saw 'it' in him, from the bottom.
Jordan played in an Era full of Basketball God's. One on one, he beat them. Titles, he has them, greatest team in NBA history, he was there. Yes Lebron is awesome and possibly the greatest active player today, but not the greatest ever.
Jordan Averaged 37 ppg his 3rd year in the league.... Jordan Dropped 63 points on the Celtics in the 1986 playoffs in the prime of the Celtics dynasty... who was whooping who's ass? Learn your history
shaqpopcorn34 He may have missed some shots but he also dropped 45 points in that game and the final 4 points of a game that they were losing by 3. Two of which came form the game winning shot set up by that one steal you mentioned witch came with less than 20 seconds on the clock... LeBron had to be saved by Chris Bosh and Mike Millers rebounding on his blown shots. Plus the 3 point shooting of Ray Allen.
shaqpopcorn34 LeBron is a beast ill admit that, I am not an idiot, I just personally believe that Jordon was better. Jordon has his legacy and LeBron is building his. They played at different times with a different set of rules, which makes a comparison pure speculation. So you can have your opinion and I will have mine. But the fact remains they are both great and that is truly the only fact that is not disputable.
Lebron's finishing his prime now (averaged prime is 27 years, unusually consistent. Check it out). During MJ's prime, 1st 3 peat, here were his finals numbers - 1991 - 32 and 11.5 APG 2.8 SPG on .558 FG%. 1992 - 36 PPG and 6.5 APG on .526 FG%. 1993 - finals record 41 PPG 6.3 APG 9 RPG on .508 FG%. When in the hell has Lebron come close to any one of those stats…. once in the finals? Lebron averages 22.5 PPG in the finals over his career. MJ's single lowest finals scoring game of his career is 22 points. 50 point playoff games since 1984? MJ - 8. Rest of the league combined - 13. Lebron - 0. Sorry, it's not even close. MJ was so dominant, Daly made the "Jordan rules", a defense simply focused on MJ at all times.
bledredwine On top of this, MJ had legendary moments in the finals nearly EVERY time. in 1991? He had 13 FG straight and "the move" against the lakers. In 1992? He had record for 3's in a half, points in a half, and "the shrug". 1993? Sets finals record of 41 points including a game winner. Against Utah? He had the game winning assist, and of course the most famous game-winner in finals history after making a lay-up and stealing the ball from Malone, back to back to back in 30 seconds. Never taken to a game 7 in the finals. If I want to win championships, I know who I'll take on my team.
Michael Jordan is my hero! No one will ever convince me LeBron is better. Don't get me wrong, he's a straight beast, a freak of nature. To win three titles, have your father killed, go get embarrassed playing baseball, and then come back to win 3 more. BTW MJ never ditched his team to go find an easier place to win a Title. NBA is not the same since Jordan left. Bunch of babies playing. Where's the toughness? I remember seeing Heat/Knicks, Bulls/Pistons, Pacers/Knicks. I mean straight up battles, I loved those days. What happened to those rivalries? They're gone, sadly. Mark my words, James has seen his LAST title. That is unless he decides to shit on Cleveland again and go to a team full of studs. Jordan made the men around him play better by working hard and leading by example. I sure do watch MJ play, man I do. He was the GREATEST. Not trying to start shit, just stating my opinion. Just an old Marines opinion,Thanks!
heat a team by team you mean people with jerseys? A TEAM no way. Teams are built not bought and stick together tim duncan one team 18 years or something LOL only 5 rings kobe 5 rings 18th season? one team, jordan 6 rings 100% nba finals one team (noone counts washington lol) Larry bird one team not sure ring count. Lebron 3 tearms 12 years 2 rings LOL Jordan had a 6 rings by now and and everyone knows those 2 season if he never left he'd had won too, with 2 more mvp finals and prob and at least one league mvp. NBA peaked a while ago when all these pussy ass don't touch lebron rules came in.
Marco Alexander I guess you do't realize that in the 90's there was expansion teams coming in. This caused the league's competition level to be much weaker. I mean you guys act like MJ won ships in the 80's with a healthy Bird & Magic. Then don't even talk about how the Bulls beat the Lakers in the finals because the Lakers were plagued with injuries and had no Kareem or healthy James Worthy. Basically MJ's era wasn't nearly as hard as you think it was.
this was uploaded in 2011, and now 2017, LJ still didn't have 6 championship rings. PS watching this gives me goosebump because I got a chance to see how Michael Jordan plays in his prime and I'm lucky.
I love the contrast between his later years (in HD), and his early years. He became a more well rounded offensive threat after his return from baseball, relying on the mid range game more. Whereas during the first 3peat he was so damn explosive he just attacked the rim relentlessly. Both versions were equally hard to stop... in fact try impossible.
NBA fan that has been watching since 1987. I've seen every HOF'mer in that time. They all have their merits that are all incredible. Michael Jeffrey Jordan is single handedly the most dominant, most competitive, most skilled, most ruthless, and most accomplished player to ever play the sport of basketball. No one else is in the conversation!
What most people forget is that the reason jordan didn't win 6 championships IN A ROW was that he took 2 years off to play baseball. If he hadn't done that, he would likely have 2 more championships and 2 more MVPs
not "if" that is a FOR SURE, He would have gotten at least 1 more no doubt and 2 quite possibly now 3 seems kind of hard to imagine but we are talking about Jordan here and anything can happen when you have this guy on the floor.
Laced God he did...he won two 3 peats...3 championships in 2 years in a row and did it again a few years later....for a total of 6 championships...learn your NBA history kid
10 scoring titles. 6 for 6 in the finals. 6 x finals mvp. He didn't even let a game 7 occur in the finals. 63 point PLAYOFF game against LARRY BIRD'S CELTICS! (someone will probably break that record against the raptors of something, lol), defensive player of the year. Team went 72-10, The only player in NBA history to score over 40 points at age 40, and he did it twice! Only player in NBA history to never once score under 20 points in a Finals game....And there are MANY, MANY other records I could list about this guy Michael Jordan.
+emy junior you can hate Lebron, but you can't take away his greatness as a basketball player. people always compare the best of today to the best of all time. MJ is definitely above LBJ, not only because of his skills but his leadership and heart, but Lebron will go down as a top 3-5 of all time.
Makaveli LBJ is my fav player right now what the hell u talking about..LBJ will end up #2 behind MJ23 on the all-time list..LBJ is the reason is started watching B-ball again after MJ left..LBJ is the truth!
The "How quickly Scottie Pippen forgets" with the cut to Jordan's signature unblockable fadeaway (in a arm bar league where refs actually honored defense) and that music track, is the definition of a mic drop.
I vote we play this after every heat vs bulls game so we can remind all those, not just 12 year old banwagoners, but the sports ANALysts of Jordan's greatness.
Not even close. MJ era = No easy calls, no easy fouls,... everything was way harder than today's game. That man bled on the court, fought wars. It is not even the rings, not the stats..just watch him play against the great players like Larry Bird, Magic, The Dream, Ewing, BARKLEY!, Come on man. NOT EVEN CLOSE!
For the people that say Michael Jordan played in a weak era, just look up "Bulls vs Knicks Rivalry Part 1: The War Has Begun (1992 & 1993 Playoffs) " and you will never say that again.
The expansion era Jordan played in was weak. Hindsight is real but we will never see another era that weak where the league tried to make stuff happen through stern. Softest player in the weakest era all time is Jordan’s real earned title
Until someone wins DPOY, a scoring title, and MVP in the SAME season, there shouldnt't be ANY comparisons.. People brush over these guys accomplishments like anyone could do them.. THEN WHY HASN'T ANYONE ELSE DONE IT?!?
Why do you have to win all 3 in 1 season. That just means you had 1 great year. I'd rather win them in separate years, or else you end up being a Ron artest whose entire career occurred in the year 2004 and he was garbage in literally every year before and after that.
if thats the case Bron should have 2 to 3 DPOY's cause exactly tell me the night before you won DPOY you couldn't keep yo man below 50% from the field an the night after he won it another horrific defensive performance with less than 25% contesting perimeter threats also over 75% from the field from over 3+ players. Nice try
The 3-1 comeback was worth way more than that stupid comment you made way back. Lebron has no comparisons all time whereas many others have been on or passed Jordan’s level
When I think about Kobe Bryant I should think about Elgin Baylor first. They are in the same level, Kobe is lucky to play in an era without 60's Celtics that is why he won more rings. Balyor's teammate Jerry West is better than Kobe for sure; Jerry West beats Kobe in all stats (per game). All season: PTS: Kobe (25.0) Jerry (27.0) TRB: Kobe (5.2) Jerry (5.8) AST: Kobe (4.7) Jerry (6.7) STL: Kobe (1.4) Jerry (2.6) BLK: Kobe (0.5) Jerry (0.7) Best season: PTS: Kobe (35.4 - 2006) Jerry (31.3 - 1966) TRB: Kobe (6.9 - 2003) Jerry (7.9 - 1962) AST: Kobe (6.3 - 2014) Jerry (9.7 - 1972) STL: Kobe (2.2 - 2003) Jerry (2.6 - 1974) BLK: Kobe (1.0 - 1999) Jerry (0.7 - 1974) * Blocks and steals started to be recorded in 1973-74, so Jerry West's STL/BLK in his last season beats Kobe's best season. And since Jerry West has a nickname called "Mr. Clutch", so his playoff records are way better than Kobe. Playoff: PTS: Kobe (25.6) Jerry (29.1) TRB: Kobe (5.1) Jerry (5.6) AST: Kobe (4.7) Jerry (6.3) Elgin Baylor beats Kobe Bryant in PTS and TRB, but not AST (No STL and BLK data for Elgin Baylor since he retired before 1974) All season: PTS: Kobe (25.0) Elgin (27.4) TRB: Kobe (5.2) Elgin (13.5) AST: Kobe (4.7) Elgin (4.3) Best season: PTS: Kobe (35.4 - 2006) Elgin (38.3 - 1962) TRB: Kobe (6.9 - 2003) Elgin (19.8 - 1961) AST: Kobe (6.3 - 2014) Elgin (5.4 - 1970) Playoff: PTS: Kobe (25.6) Elgin (27.0) TRB: Kobe (5.1) Elgin (12.9) AST: Kobe (4.7) Elgin (4.0) Jerry West played 1960-1974 in Lakers, Elgin Baylor played 1958-1971 in Lakers -- you can easily find old Lakers which were as good as (or even better) than Kobe Bryant, but it is hard to find a person as good as Jordan.
pls stop with that bs..... im pretty sure u know jack shit about bball...only started getting into it a few weeks ago....pulling stats out of ur ass........ but yet fail to mention how that came to be...........imma let u know now that the 50s, 60s and early 70s are prob the weakest eras by far..... by the way did u know that "Mr. Clutch" has lost like 8 finals..... did u know that Elgin's sorry ass didnt even win a ring lol retiring the year they finally won lmfao...its a good thing they felt sorry for is bum ass and gave him a ring.... did u know that back then they took like 100000x more shots than they did in kobe's era?
This is why jordan is better than letravel...... Because Jordan played and won like 3 or 4 times in a row, against the big ones, patrick ewing, the bad boys, charles, mutombo, hakeem, larry bird, kobe, drexler, etc.. And Lebron? If he cant win against the actual oponents like durant, derrick, cp, curry, if he cant win against those. Then he would never beat the other ones, NEVER... So thats the reason why jordan is better, because of the oponents that he faced, seriously if he could play actually, in his prime, he would destroy all the competition right now :)
lovefunkrockmusic The Spurs are better than any team Jordan ever faced in the Finals. The teams that Jordan faced that could be compared to the Spurs are the Bad Boy Pistons or Bird's Celtics. Guess what Jordan's record is against those teams? 0-2 against Bird's Celtics and 1-3 against the Piston's in the playoffs.
Tony Mario No, the Spurs are clearly the better team. They been to the Finals 6 times (and they are in the western conference) and won 5 championships. The Jazz been to the Finals twice and won 0 championships. Bird's Celtics and the Bad Boy Pistons were also better than those Jazz teams. The 80s Jazz team was actually better than the 90s version. The 80s Jazz had Malone, Stockton, Thurl Bailey, and Mark Eaton (greatest shot blocker in modern basketball). Bailey was better than Byron Russell, and Eaton was clearly better than Greg Ostertag. The 90s Jazz would have never even made it to the Finals if they played in the 80s. The 90s Bulls would have had a lot more trouble with the 80s Jazz. The 1986 Celtics, the 80s Lakers, the 1983 76ers, all would give the 1996 Bulls a run for their money.
Look closely at the Video ...do U see who MJ is crossing over ..oh thats Larry Bird ...do U see who MJ is dunking on ..oh thats Patrick Ewing ...do U see who MJ is shutting down in the playoffs oh thats Reggie Miller ...do U see who MJ is going score for score with in the Finals ..oh thats Magic Johnson ... YA DIGGGG ? Lol
+Bill Russel They were old before they got old. Only a loser would use a profile of someone else. Go back to your pathetic life you won't even claim. You spelled his name wrong moron.
Genocide 1845 do you see who lebron crossed over... Kawai Leonard. Do you see who lebron dunked on... Tim Duncan, do you see who lebron shut down in the playoffs.. Kevin Durant , did you see who lebron scored on to win the finals. The entire warriors 73-9 beat team in history teams
Jordan dominated the game, no one could stop him by all means, they tried everything, no one beat him.. in an era of real great players and different NBA rules, he is above and beyon.. by far. NOTHING TO COMPARE
7 лет назад+1
He beat all those greats when they were on there way out and old
+brendandonohue14 You know who wasn't old...David Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Isiah Thomas, Shaquille O'Neal, Karl Malone, Reggie Miller, Charles Barkeley, Dennis Rodman, Shawn Kemp, Alonzo Mourning, Penny Hardaway, Patrick Ewing, Clyde Drexler, Dikembe Mutombo, John Stockton, Gary Payton, Kobe Bryant, Chris Mullin, Manute Bol, Allen Iverson, Glen Rice, Chris Webber, Chris Webber, Joe Dumars, Dominique Wilkins, Kevin Johnson, Tim Hardaway, Grant Hill And Magic is only 3-4 year older. So, next excuse, kid.....
I've been watching this video since 2012! You posted this video 12 yrs ago and that boy still hasn't caught up to Jordan. Yes I agree people easily forget. 🙏
Jordan was definitely the greater player. Better at everything except rebounding and assists. Jordan was better at scoring, averaged more points, shot a higher %, averaged more steals and blocks. Not to mention all the intangibles (clutch, will to win, competitiveness, confidence, etc.) that Jordan clearly has the edge in. Jordan of 1987-1993 = the best prime of any player in nba history. No one compares to that version of Jordan.
Ironically Jordan shot a lower FG%, needed more FTA, is worse from 3 can’t defend as well and is worse at everything except for FGA and FTA. Lebron do be the goat though so it’s not super fair to compare them
Jordan was a cold blooded assassin as our buddy skip pointed out. He not only won multiple mvp awards, 6 rings, a gold medal, but he also won how many defensive poy awards? These people act like he couldn't defend. Watch his clips about shutting someone down. He couldn't provide floor leadership or assists. I love lebron, but if he had half the leadership jordan had he'd have won 5 titles In miami. Jordan was one of a kind. I've only ever seen one other athlete just dominate the field like he did and that was Tiger Woods in his prime. Idc how big lebron is. How strong lebron is. Jordan was a man. LeBron Could HAVE Went To College As well. don't start that bs. Jordan not only went to college, but won a national title in which he hit the game winner, and had a poy award. I don't think this is about forgetting... I don't think this generation in general ever watched the brilliance and down right scary on court performances from MJ.. that dude was from another planet. Literally. The speed, acceleration, passing ability, court vision, creativity, the power at the rim, the signature fade aways from either side, the stone cold defense, the big shots, the buzzer beating game winning shots, the grace with the ball in which looked like it was on a string, and so much more. We've never seen anything like him and we may never see anything like him again. Even if someone gets 7 rings.. when he played the Bulls won rings. If he hadn't of became bored he would have 8. In the 90s.. this guy was down right 100% no doubt about it the best player ever to lace them up. Unstoppable. Feared. A champion. The greatest
That man is truly black Jesus! He is forever immortal in the game of basketball..Michael Jeffrey Jordan Thank u for showing us what determination and truly walking on air was like..forever my 🐐
Yeah if anyone Kobe should be compared to Jordan, greats who were not the GOAT. Russell and Kareem are the next level up, and rn it’s Lebron at the top
This might be my favorite video of all time. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched it. But I can describe how I feel when I watch it… Because it’s the same feeling every single time
NOW we have some idea about the rough era, we know SOME of the accomplishments, let's talk about the players he did it against: Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, David Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Isiah Thomas, Shaquille O'Neal, Karl Malone, Reggie Miller, Charles Barkeley, Dennis Rodman, Shawn Kemp, Alonzo Mourning, Penny Hardaway, Patrick Ewing, Clyde Drexler, Dikembe Mutombo, John Stockton, Gary Payton, Kobe Bryant, Chris Mullin, Manute Bol, Allen Iverson, Glen Rice, Chris Webber, Joe Dumars, Dominique Wilkins, Kevin Johnson, Tim Hardaway, Grant Hill, ect... Do I need to continue? MICHAEL AIR JORDAN.....nuff said!
Joe Dumars? Glen Rice? Oh please, Bron did it against Tim Duncan, Curry, prime Pg, Lillard, KD, Kawhi, and the list goes on. Sit tf down with no Joe Dumars lookin ass.
Nobody who ever saw Jordan play, and sees Lebron play now, would ever say Lebron is better. Lebron is a dominant player on some nights, but Jordan dominated the entire league for an entire decade. There is no comparison. Jordan just absolutely slayed everyone and left jaws on the floor. I am happy I was alive to see him play. He was beyond special. Lebron just kind of reminds me of Patrick Ewing and Karl Malone. He's big, and he pushes his way to points. And with the right guys around him he succeeds SOMETIMES. But Jordan beat guys like that on a nightly basis. There is no one like him.
I've watched this video at least 100 times , I could watch every day 😀 Please LeBitches DO NOT compare this travel artist (LeBrick) with the ONLY GOAT Michael Jordan.
If you had one game to win, and your life depended on it, who’s face do you want to see next to you, when you walk on that court. For me, it’s Micheal Jordan. I don’t want a quitter, to have my fate in his hands.
Lebron got robbed of a DPOY unlike Jordan who robbed Olajuwon but a Lebron would go on to pass Jordan all time in everything so it doesn’t really matter Lebrons the GOAT
Outside the numbers people have to realize the things MJ did under the circumstances he did them in. Artistry was unbelievable. I remember his first couple years in the league people were pulling there hairs out it was unbelievable the things he did. No disrespect to lebron, your never gonna be like MJ, never gonna be close, Bob Costas once said if you walked into a room and you didnt know and knew nothing about basketball you would look at MJ and say that has to be somebody ( basketball player) he's the greatest.
mj has done more for the sport of basketball than ANY OTHER person has ever done for any sport EVER!!! look it up! when he came out of retirement, our country's economy got better! one person said "I'm back", & billions of dollars were made & spent w/i the country. to say that's amazing is an understatement. mj is the goat!!! period!!!
Like Rudy T said in the vid, Jordan was the greatest leader to ever play. LeOverrated and the Heat got thoroughly destroyed by the Spurs in the Finals; Jordan woulda never let that happen
just the fact we still compare everyone to him and in every conversation about GOAT his name always comes up is enough for me to believe he is the greatest + my first intro to basketball was "come fly with me"... I remember watching wide eyed thinking man can fly..... and gracefully too...
Jordan also was more humble and had a better attitude than LBJ. And he wouldn't get away with travel and then complain about not getting a foul. And he wouldn't flop like LBJ does in a time when the game was way more physical. So not only was he better, he's more respectable.
+THATcarpet GUY Yeah on the court he was a trash talker. That was part of the game back then when there was more heated competition. Like the Mutombo finger wave. Jordan shook his finger in his face after he dunked on him. That type of thing would be a technical today. Today's league is soft as hell. But Jordan wasnt all about his stats like lebron, he just wanted the win. Jordan was 6-0 and his interviews were still more humble than leflop.
+DemocracyOfHypocrisy you have to respect lebron the man was give millions of dollars as a 18 year old and has never gotten arrested for being drunk, high, domestic violence, never had a gambling problem, never has spent his money foolishly, and is a great role model. Say all you want about flopping and traveling because everyone does it now due to the fact that the refs allow it, it's old news. It takes one hell of a man to stay out of trouble and manage his money that well at such a young age. He spends time with his kids, is great to the fans, and a great business man. He may not have the bigger heart on the court but he definitely has one of the biggest hearts and smartest minds in sports
This guy simply dominated the game in a Era where only big men was suppose to do it! Defensive player of the year. 10 time scoring champ. 5 time MVP. 6 time champ , and 6 time finals MVP. Steals leader multiple times. Highest playoff average leader. I mean I can keep goin lol. All in 15 season
The G.O.A.T.s Baseball : Babe Ruth American Football: Jim Brown Football : Messi Boxing: Muhammad Ali MMA: Fedor Emelianenko Basketball: Michael Jordan
Baseball: Babe Ruth American Footbal: Jimmy Brown Football: Pele Boxing: Muhammad Ali MMA: Don't give a fuck, not even a sport. Basketball: Michael Jordan Running: Usain Bolt Swimming: Michael Phelps
Wow this video is epic. It's true how quickly they forget. Jordan set the standard for excellence on both ends of the floor. He was head and shoulders above all players in the 90's. Jordan threw up untouchable season numbers from 1984 to 1989 but he became wiser and finally became an NBA champion in 1991. From that point two 3 peats going 6-0 in the finals adding 6 finals mvp awards. "The best there ever was, The best there ever will be" is what reads on his statue outside the United Center!
Those who hadn’t witnessed don’t understand: no matter who Jordan had to face - he assessed the weaknesses of the opponent, learnt to take advantage of then and to overcome. Whoever Jordan faced he ate them like rust eats iron.
It amazes me how people even consider this a question, Lebron James is a great player, but he is no Micheal Jordan. Even if Lebron were to ever win 6 or more championship he still wouldn't be the GOAT. Lebron just does not have the mental aptitude and drive that Jordan had. He does not have the clutch touch and he would rather work for an Oscar with his over the top flops than fight through the adversity. Nothing Lebron has done compares to Jordan in the championship finals out of gas with fatigue and flu still doing what he needed to win. Personally, I would rank "slow" Larry Bird over Lebron.
Lebron is obviously a bad dude on the court, no doubt about it, but the part about him being a better "floor leader!?" Ummm......I'm speechless. That is actually one of the areas that elevates Michael to rare air.
Who is Lebron? Why is he famous? Why is he being compared to the GREATEST Michael Jordan? It's a SIN to compare someone against the GREATEST Michael Jordan!
shaqpopcorn34 Actually, 41 ppg in an NBA finals Series (not just one game) is significantly better. This proves that you stat is flawed. He even shot 51% which makes him even more efficient that Lebron's 29 ppg 47%fg
Dude, you are so full of shit. Go to NBA.com and look up their real stats, because you are way off. Jordan always averaged more points, but he never averaged more assists or rebounds than LeBron. If you are going to argue for Jordan at least make an honest attempt; its not like it is hard to make a case for him.
shaqpopcorn34 Your stats are incorrect, thus making your post void. MJ has the highest PER, PPG, PPG in nba finals, playoff points in the history of the NBA. He also owns the most Finals MVPs of all time. Not to mention he averaged over 50% eFG/FG% in his career (Which includes his joke wizard years). He even quit the NBA when he won Finals MVP and averaged 41 points a game in the nba finals (highest of all time). This dude is the GOAT.
Can you imagine just how dominant Jordan would be in today's pussified league? He wouldn't need a team, he can just play 1vs5 and still score 60 each night.
MJ flipped every time he played them, the Jordan rules were literally coined to describe how he got the friendliest whistle of all time. Lebron would dominate the teams that dominated MJ
Jordan was a brand name during all those 90s video games, and the games weren't allowed to use his name without his permission, which they never got, but his "like-ness" was used. Check out a few games like Kobe Bryant Courtside 2, the Bulls have a 90+ overall player on the bench that's supposed to resemble Jordan but he's nameless
So?! There were alot of games where you could see/play Jordan. How about Jordan vs Bird for a start?! NBA Jam, maybe?! Bulls vs Blazzers?! Anyone?! Why anyone would say he wasn't in the video games can only be interpreted by ignorance and will to diminuish someone.
Nobody Has Invoked Raw Emotions From The NBA Fanbase Than Michael Jordan And Nobody Played With Absolute Heart Than Michael Jordan When He Grace His Presence On The Hardwood Floor He Commanded Respect And He Received A Standing Ovation Everywhere He Played
STATS do not determine whether you are the GOAT. Its about taking on your GREATEST rivals and WINNING. Its about Playing against a team that is destined to WIN (aka 93 NY Knicks and SUNS, 97 Jazz) and still having the determination to WIN. Lebron doesn't have this same determination as Jordan has (no rolled Ankle is going to stop him, no Flu is going holding back) and if you do happen to beat Jordan, Watch out! cause he'll come back with more determination (aka 72-10 or SWEEP your ass like 96 Magic). Lebron is Great, but Jordan is the Greatest.
Young MJ was scary , but older MJ was deadly. Prime MJ all day.
The only player I've seen who declined in a area and still run the league. MJ went from high flying to turn around fade and still was the Goat.
Micheal Jordan won a DPOY playing perimeter defense and averaged 35 PPG in the same season. Just let that shit sink in. MJ was a fucking freak!!!
You check your fucking stats average ha! Try again tard.
Kangsta CoasT dude I'm done Mcgrady? Drops mic I'm out!
Kangsta CoasT whatever you're on,, you need to stop. is affecting your brain bruh.. Mj never left the bulls to win a title like lebron did and jordan never EVER choke in the finals like lb did.
omg. EVERYTIME i watch jordan play...I see a person who loves basketball and a winners mindset. It brings a tear in my eye.
That look on MJs face every drive is like he's charging in to war. Like his life depends on getting that ball, in that hoop nothing else. That level of sheer willpower and intensity is unmatched in sports
Well Said He Had A Killer instinct drive
If your talking about in all of sports I think only Tom Brady comes close.
@@kgotter Even Tom Brady ain’t on that level. Great as he is. Only person I’ve ever seen close to that level of intensity is Kobe
Michael Jeffery Jordan. skill, theatrics, showmanship, leadership....total package. I miss watching him dominate the court on television. rarely did he have a bad night. just a privilage to watch. MJ all the way.
Amen!! MJ all the way without a shadow of a doubt!
It’s called intelligence to doubt yourself and others and looking for new sights.
MJ is the greatest player I've seen in any sport. He was that good, period.
Alex B Wayne Gretzky, undisputed King of his sport than Jordan imo!
Alex B Messi is the best I've ever seen play but Jordan is God
@@eamonnobearra2111 But Messi isn't even the best. Ronaldo is better than him and not even he is the best ever!
Xenos Supreme Gretzky didn't win on Jordan's level.
Babe ruth?
Watching Jordan play live is like what it must have been like to watch Muhammad Ali, Babe Ruth or Jim Brown. I'm glad I got the chance to witness real greatness.
I miss Jordan...those were my days and i will never forget them!😎 MJ is the best!
Absolutely phenomenal video. Nice footage, nice music. Loved it.
Tabor hill?
lebron is the goat
It is scary how good this man was. Thousands of years from now if not more he will still be the best.
Michael Jordan averaged 30 ppg or more in 8 seasons including a career high in 1986-87 of 37.1 ppg
LeBron James has averaged 30 ppg or more in 2 NBA seasons including a career high in 2005-06 of 31.4 ppg
WHY IS G.O.A.T. EVEN DEBATED BETWEEN THESE TWO???
money Mark Ok, bronsexual
Lol calls Lebron garbage lol
Best comparison I have seen.
MAN KEEP PREACHING BRUV!!!!!! MJ ALL DAY!!!
Jay Man The most true thing I have heard since I was 6 and I'm 18.
So lebron didnt earn his stardom? It was all handed to him?
Matthew Hakun compared to MJ, yes, everything was handed to him by servants on a silver platter without him having to lift a finger. One has to look no further than the two players' Nike deals. Did Jordan land a $100+ million Nike deal as a high school kid? Yeah, I don't remember that either.
Leo Nast Then every single thing you have ever heard was pretty damn smart and made a lot of sense.
What Jordan really has that stands out so much is his artistry. Watching him move around the court and attack the rim is just beautiful.
Jordan played in an Era full of Basketball God's. One on one, he beat them. Titles, he has them, greatest team in NBA history, he was there. Yes Lebron is awesome and possibly the greatest active player today, but not the greatest ever.
+Samuel Dunn well said.
Ahh but lets not forget he beat them when they were old and past their primes. They whooped his ass all through the 80's and into the early 90's.
+James Williams and they beat him while he was young, cocky, and inexperienced
Jordan Averaged 37 ppg his 3rd year in the league.... Jordan Dropped 63 points on the Celtics in the 1986 playoffs in the prime of the Celtics dynasty... who was whooping who's ass? Learn your history
+Benjamin Wilkinson Yeah and he got swept.
Still one of the best highlight clip makes you feel their greatness
Jordan is the greatest athlete of all time not just the goat of basketball
John Lamb try Bo Jackson
Marcus mcpherson um no
Marcus mcpherson that's neck and neck but I'm taking MJ
John Lamb I think Bo Jackson might have something to say about that. MJ is my favorite to play any sport, but Bo is the greatest athlete of all time
TRUE BRO...
Lebron might be King. But MJ is the god of basketball.
true
Right now yes , in 5 years no
About36GREEKS In 5,000,000,000,000 years Jordan will be the gid of basketball.
Laryece Ridgeway god*
No but when I'm in the nba no lol
First saw this video four years ago. Still get goosebumps watching it.
Video gives me chills, there will never be anyone greater than MJ.. Not for lack of talent but lack of tenacity.
shaqpopcorn34 He may have missed some shots but he also dropped 45 points in that game and the final 4 points of a game that they were losing by 3. Two of which came form the game winning shot set up by that one steal you mentioned witch came with less than 20 seconds on the clock... LeBron had to be saved by Chris Bosh and Mike Millers rebounding on his blown shots. Plus the 3 point shooting of Ray Allen.
shaqpopcorn34 There would not have been a game 7 if not for Ray Allen.. So yea he did save him.
shaqpopcorn34 LeBron is a beast ill admit that, I am not an idiot, I just personally believe that Jordon was better. Jordon has his legacy and LeBron is building his. They played at different times with a different set of rules, which makes a comparison pure speculation. So you can have your opinion and I will have mine. But the fact remains they are both great and that is truly the only fact that is not disputable.
@@Towelieeeeeeeeeeeeee best response I've heard in years. Respect bro 😎
Exactly!
bledredwine
LeBron James
PPG 35.8
APG 8.8
RPG 13.3
>>1st to lead in all categories in Finals history
Adrian Grant most important number 2-4 in the finals it should be 1-5 if it wasent for ray allen
Juda Martinez
Who gives a fuck? Jerry West THE LOGO was like 1-9
Michael Jordan is my hero!
Jordan is 6,6 and lebron is 6,8.
But it feels like jordan can fly higher than lebron
Less weight, called physics
@Matthew Clanton lol
Spurs lost finals:come back stronger and win title.
Heat lost finals:everyone quits the team.
By everyone you mean: LeBron James, Shane Battier (who decided to retire before the finals) and Ray Allen (whose future isn't decided yet)?
peter hansen right? what is this guy saying?
peter hansen and James Jones
heat a team by team you mean people with jerseys? A TEAM no way. Teams are built not bought and stick together tim duncan one team 18 years or something LOL only 5 rings kobe 5 rings 18th season? one team, jordan 6 rings 100% nba finals one team (noone counts washington lol) Larry bird one team not sure ring count. Lebron 3 tearms 12 years 2 rings LOL Jordan had a 6 rings by now and and everyone knows those 2 season if he never left he'd had won too, with 2 more mvp finals and prob and at least one league mvp. NBA peaked a while ago when all these pussy ass don't touch lebron rules came in.
him yeah. His talents no *****
Basketball in the 90's was harder than today...
Yes The 90"s Was Way Tougher Tho This Era Now Is To Easy It's Like You Know Who's Gonna Be In The Finals Tho
Basically MJ's era wasn't nearly as hard as you think it was.
this was uploaded in 2011,
and now 2017, LJ still didn't have 6 championship rings.
Great points
Good point. What’s even wilder is that young and old Lebron were both better than him at both of those
@@mikek128#MJ never went to the finals and flopped! He talked the talk and backed it up. #TheGOAT
They call it the Jordan Era. They will never call anything the Lebron Era.
This video is legendary I remember watching it 7 years ago! This video was ahead of its time
What most people forget is that the reason jordan didn't win 6 championships IN A ROW was that he took 2 years off to play baseball. If he hadn't done that, he would likely have 2 more championships and 2 more MVPs
lets not play the "if" game now
not "if" that is a FOR SURE, He would have gotten at least 1 more no doubt and 2 quite possibly now 3 seems kind of hard to imagine but we are talking about Jordan here and anything can happen when you have this guy on the floor.
Brew master I'm sorry but jordan couldn't win 3 championships in 2 years. Even he's not that good
Laced God he did...he won two 3 peats...3 championships in 2 years in a row and did it again a few years later....for a total of 6 championships...learn your NBA history kid
Tone. Capone a 3peat is 3 championships back to back to back. Learn your basic terminology before you talk to me. Thats 3 championships in 3 years
jordan all day, everyday, no question.
watch jordans every shot, he always had 3 opponents or more on him...
jordan GOAT no doubt, simply amazing....
You CANT compare NOBODY to MJ!!!!!
+emy junior you can hate Lebron, but you can't take away his greatness as a basketball player. people always compare the best of today to the best of all time. MJ is definitely above LBJ, not only because of his skills but his leadership and heart, but Lebron will go down as a top 3-5 of all time.
Makaveli LBJ is my fav player right now what the hell u talking about..LBJ will end up #2 behind MJ23 on the all-time list..LBJ is the reason is started watching B-ball again after MJ left..LBJ is the truth!
yes Larry Bird is one
Roger Cobbs Never!!!...Larry Bird is behind Lebron and Kobe...Cmon be real not racist
shame you bring up the race issue no bird is not behind James or anyone go with race issue you have
The "How quickly Scottie Pippen forgets" with the cut to Jordan's signature unblockable fadeaway (in a arm bar league where refs actually honored defense) and that music track, is the definition of a mic drop.
I vote we play this after every heat vs bulls game so we can remind all those, not just 12 year old banwagoners, but the sports ANALysts of Jordan's greatness.
And to help the sad bulls fans remember that they once had a good team.
+ vs Mallone, Alonozo, Admiral, Stockton, Miller, Wilkins, Starks, ....the listy goes on...
MJ still plays when he has cramps or flu....he doesnt get carried of the court
Ata Ko
David Robinson
A.gulf.hitter Admiral = David Robinson :) such a great nick!!
Ata Koc. I agree.trying driving inside on Barkley.or bill Lambert.there was aome ruthless ball games in those days.
For the people that say Michael Jordan played in a weak era, just look up "Bulls vs Knicks Rivalry Part 1: The War Has Begun (1992 & 1993 Playoffs) " and you will never say that again.
People always talk about the bad boy pistons defending MJ. That Knicks team was a better overall defensive team. FACT
The expansion era Jordan played in was weak. Hindsight is real but we will never see another era that weak where the league tried to make stuff happen through stern. Softest player in the weakest era all time is Jordan’s real earned title
Grew up watching this video. Still gets me pumped up!!!! One of the best videos ever made. Period.
I get Goosebumps watching Jordan Highlights, For lebron's highlights, i'd rather watch paint dry
now you know thats a lie
Maybe a little exaggeration yes.
no need to argue>>> your highness Michael "Air" Jordan is the best. peace to all Lebron fans.
Jordan is the best SG, he never passed Kareem, and Lebron passed both of them, have a peaceful time but stay holding the L
Until someone wins DPOY, a scoring title, and MVP in the SAME season, there shouldnt't be ANY comparisons.. People brush over these guys accomplishments like anyone could do them.. THEN WHY HASN'T ANYONE ELSE DONE IT?!?
+Trey Hull Don't forget back to back dunk titles. How many times has Lebron entered dunk contest?
Jay Cee dunk titles don't mean shit lol..
Jordan is by far the best
I am sorry but you are probably thinking about Kobe Bryant
+Greg parket well Kobe Bryant is the second best I think
When I think about Kobe Bryant I should think about Elgin Baylor first. They are in the same level, Kobe is lucky to play in an era without 60's Celtics that is why he won more rings.
Balyor's teammate Jerry West is better than Kobe for sure; Jerry West beats Kobe in all stats (per game).
All season:
PTS: Kobe (25.0) Jerry (27.0)
TRB: Kobe (5.2) Jerry (5.8)
AST: Kobe (4.7) Jerry (6.7)
STL: Kobe (1.4) Jerry (2.6)
BLK: Kobe (0.5) Jerry (0.7)
Best season:
PTS: Kobe (35.4 - 2006) Jerry (31.3 - 1966)
TRB: Kobe (6.9 - 2003) Jerry (7.9 - 1962)
AST: Kobe (6.3 - 2014) Jerry (9.7 - 1972)
STL: Kobe (2.2 - 2003) Jerry (2.6 - 1974)
BLK: Kobe (1.0 - 1999) Jerry (0.7 - 1974)
* Blocks and steals started to be recorded in 1973-74, so Jerry West's STL/BLK in his last season beats Kobe's best season.
And since Jerry West has a nickname called "Mr. Clutch", so his playoff records are way better than Kobe.
Playoff:
PTS: Kobe (25.6) Jerry (29.1)
TRB: Kobe (5.1) Jerry (5.6)
AST: Kobe (4.7) Jerry (6.3)
Elgin Baylor beats Kobe Bryant in PTS and TRB, but not AST (No STL and BLK data for Elgin Baylor since he retired before 1974)
All season:
PTS: Kobe (25.0) Elgin (27.4)
TRB: Kobe (5.2) Elgin (13.5)
AST: Kobe (4.7) Elgin (4.3)
Best season:
PTS: Kobe (35.4 - 2006) Elgin (38.3 - 1962)
TRB: Kobe (6.9 - 2003) Elgin (19.8 - 1961)
AST: Kobe (6.3 - 2014) Elgin (5.4 - 1970)
Playoff:
PTS: Kobe (25.6) Elgin (27.0)
TRB: Kobe (5.1) Elgin (12.9)
AST: Kobe (4.7) Elgin (4.0)
Jerry West played 1960-1974 in Lakers, Elgin Baylor played 1958-1971 in Lakers -- you can easily find old Lakers which were as good as (or even better) than Kobe Bryant, but it is hard to find a person as good as Jordan.
+asmobia Kobe was more dominate and did Jerry west every drop 81
pls stop with that bs..... im pretty sure u know jack shit about bball...only started getting into it a few weeks ago....pulling stats out of ur ass........ but yet fail to mention how that came to be...........imma let u know now that the 50s, 60s and early 70s are prob the weakest eras by far..... by the way did u know that "Mr.
Michael will never be forgotten. every ballers knows that. its a fact and will always be the G.O.A.T in the game of basketball.
I´m Happy because I saw them both playing, But... I must Thank's to God for coming to earth in the 90's, and played as a Chicago Bulls Guard.
6-0 nba finals record.
2endsformacircle Michael Jordan never dropped. Not even when he had the flu :/
Luis Padilla Lebron could not beat an age old veterans spurs team.
Lebron has, and won how many times in a row? And every player travels now even Jordan did
You do know Jordan lost to the "Bad Boys" 3 times in a row before even winning his first finals right. Check your facts dude.
lovefunkrockmusic The Spurs are better than any team Jordan ever faced in the Finals.
YA DIGGGG ? Lol
Yeah when they were old.
+Bill Russel They were old before they got old. Only a loser would use a profile of someone else. Go back to your pathetic life you won't even claim. You spelled his name wrong moron.
Jason Terry was old too. Didn't stop him from outscoring Lebron in the Finals lol.
happywhale4 lol
Genocide 1845 do you see who lebron crossed over... Kawai Leonard. Do you see who lebron dunked on... Tim Duncan, do you see who lebron shut down in the playoffs.. Kevin Durant , did you see who lebron scored on to win the finals. The entire warriors 73-9 beat team in history teams
I love that at the end:
"How about 6 rings from now?"
Jordan dominated the game, no one could stop him by all means, they tried everything, no one beat him.. in an era of real great players and different NBA rules, he is above and beyon.. by far. NOTHING TO COMPARE
Jordan dominated a weak era, Lebron dominated the best era. Lebron is better than Jordan
MJ....Still the 🐐 in 2019.🙌🏻
I've been watching this video since 2012! You posted this video 12 yrs ago and that boy still hasn't caught up to Jordan. Yes I agree people easily forget. 🙏
there is no competition. There is only ONE MJ.
Lebron do be the goat though so it’s not super fair to compare them
lebron is only a better traveler than mj.
蘇 sutarzan GOAT: Greatest Of All Travelers
Wis Dom lol
As in travels with the ball, and travels from team to team
You mean Flopper.
Alexander Panayi also passer, rebounder, leader, teammate, shooter.
Lebron is also better at flopping.
And airballing the freethrows. Hahahaha
You mad😂
@Matthew Clanton lebron has top 10 flop of his career 🤭
MJ is better at flopping and getting swept in the first round
MJ is The One. Period.
I'm blessed cause I watched him at his prime ('84 - '98)
You CAN'T compare two athletes that played in different eras...
That man is truly black Jesus! He is forever immortal in the game of basketball..Michael Jeffrey Jordan Thank u for showing us what determination and truly walking on air was like..forever my 🐐
Lebron, KD, Rose and all these new guys play for stats. Michael, Kobe, Duncan, Bird, etc all played for championships.
eternalending That's why LeBron went to the heat to win rings right ? because he doesn't care about them ?
Ahahahahhhh...
Nah LeBron Is playing to be the goat, he's basically concentrating on breaking records lol
I think Lebron, Kobe, and Curry are all great players, but I don't know why people even try and compare them to Jordan.
Yeah if anyone Kobe should be compared to Jordan, greats who were not the GOAT. Russell and Kareem are the next level up, and rn it’s Lebron at the top
"MJ the synonym of perfection"
Think how fortunate we all are to have witnessed Michael Jordan.
I had all of the shoes.
He was my idol,. and still is
This might be my favorite video of all time. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched it. But I can describe how I feel when I watch it… Because it’s the same feeling every single time
no one is better than Air Jordan
NOW we have some idea about the rough era, we know SOME of the accomplishments, let's talk about the players he did it against:
Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, David Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Isiah Thomas, Shaquille O'Neal, Karl Malone, Reggie Miller, Charles Barkeley, Dennis Rodman, Shawn Kemp, Alonzo Mourning, Penny Hardaway, Patrick Ewing, Clyde Drexler, Dikembe Mutombo, John Stockton, Gary Payton, Kobe Bryant, Chris Mullin, Manute Bol, Allen Iverson, Glen Rice, Chris Webber, Joe Dumars, Dominique Wilkins, Kevin Johnson, Tim Hardaway, Grant Hill, ect...
@@Wis_Dom says the guy who worships mj..
@@TPNE99995 Did you seriously angrily respond to a 6 YEAR old comment?! Lebron fans are just sad. LMFAO!!
Just came here on the 21st anniversary of Jordans flu game to watch again so I never forget.
I've watched this video at least 100 times , I could watch every day 😀 Please LeBitches DO NOT compare this travel artist (LeBrick) with the ONLY GOAT Michael Jordan.
Jordan never CRAMPED his way out of an NBA Finals LMFAO MJ the GOAT
If you had one game to win, and your life depended on it, who’s face do you want to see next to you, when you walk on that court.
For me, it’s Micheal Jordan.
I don’t want a quitter, to have my fate in his hands.
Awesome video, everything is right
Michael Jordan is the real GOAT forever ever.
Jordan also won Defensive Player of the Year and led the league in steals. Also an excellent rebounder at 6'6".
MJ also had 10 scoring titles.does kobe or LeBron have that.not even close.
gerizzyYMcrew good point...and a lot of those blocks were against BIG men.
No disrespect to lebron, your never gonna be like MJ, never gonna be close, Bob Costas once said if you walked into a room and you didnt know and knew nothing about basketball you would look at MJ and say that has to be somebody ( basketball player) he's the greatest.
mj has done more for the sport of basketball than ANY OTHER person has ever done for any sport EVER!!! look it up! when he came out of retirement, our country's economy got better! one person said "I'm back", & billions of dollars were made & spent w/i the country. to say that's amazing is an understatement. mj is the goat!!! period!!!
been years since i watched this video and it sill gives me goosebumps
Forever the GOAT..
Like Rudy T said in the vid, Jordan was the greatest leader to ever play. LeOverrated and the Heat got thoroughly destroyed by the Spurs in the Finals; Jordan woulda never let that happen
I used to watch this video before every basketball game like 5 years ago
just the fact we still compare everyone to him and in every conversation about GOAT his name always comes up is enough for me to believe he is the greatest + my first intro to basketball was "come fly with me"...
+MrTheBeast
Maybe now, he a billionaire. But when he was playing he was more humble than lebron.
+DemocracyOfHypocrisy no mj was a huge trash talker and he was hungry
+THATcarpet GUY
Yeah on the court he was a trash talker.
All in 15 season

can't believe it's been 5 years already. One of the best transitions to a sports video I've ever seen
Personally, I would rank "slow" Larry Bird over Lebron.
yeah, weird because Isaiah Thomas, Larry Bird and Hakeem Olajuwon have winning records against him. But yeah, rust eats iron
"Everybody is basically saying Lebron is better than Michael Jordan"
who are you hanging with?!
Lebron is obviously a bad dude on the court, no doubt about it, but the part about him being a better "floor leader!?" Ummm......I'm speechless. That is actually one of the areas that elevates Michael to rare air.
It's just MJ created such a powerful legacy it shines over anyone who rises up.
Everyone good/great today is always compared to Jordan. That alone tells you Jordan is the Greatest of all time.
+txoov1 I know right! lol
+txoov1 I know right! lol
Who is Lebron? Why is he famous? Why is he being compared to the GREATEST Michael Jordan? It's a SIN to compare someone against the GREATEST Michael Jordan!
This is not even close. MJ>>LeBron. Don't believe me? check the NBA finals stats (jordan 6 rings, 6-0 vs lebron 2 rings, 2-2):
Jordan
1991: 31 ppg, 7rebpg, 11 astpg, 3 stealspg, 1 blockpg, 56%fg 85%ft
1992: 36 ppg, 5rebpg, 7 astpg, 2 steals pg, 0.3block pg, 53%fg, 89%ft
1993: 41 ppg, 9 rebpg, 6 astpg, 2 steals pg, 1 block pg, 51%fg, 70% ft
1996: 27ppg, 5rebpg, 4 astpg, 2 steals pg, 0.2 block pg, 42%fg, 84% ft
1997: 32 ppg, 7 rebpg, 6 astpg, 1 steal pg, 1 block pg, 46% fg, 76% ft
1998: 34 pg, 4 rebpg, 2 astpg, 2 steals pg, 1 block pg, 43%fg, 81% ft
Lebron
2007 NBA finals. 22 ppg 35%? fg, 69% ft, 6 Turnovers pg, 7 rebpg 7 apg
2011 nba finals: 18 ppg, 48% fg, 60% ft, 6 turnovers pg, 7 rebpg 7 apg
2012 nba finals:29 ppg, 47%fg,83 %ft, turnovers pg, 10 rebpg, 7 astpg
2013 NBA finals: 25 ppg, 45% fg, 79% ft, 3turnovers pg, 11 rebpg, 7 astpg
how many turnovers per game did Lebron average in '12? you forgot it unless he didn't turn it over lol
jak3zula It wasn't on that site, but it's about 3 per game
shaqpopcorn34 Actually, 41 ppg in an NBA finals Series (not just one game) is significantly better.
This dude is the GOAT.
one of the best MJ video I ever watched..
Can you imagine just how dominant Jordan would be in today's pussified league? He wouldn't need a team, he can just play 1vs5 and still score 60 each night.
I'd love to see how James would play against the late 80s and early 90s Pistons. There would be no flopping in that game ha
MJ flipped every time he played them, the Jordan rules were literally coined to describe how he got the friendliest whistle of all time. Lebron would dominate the teams that dominated MJ
@@mikek128 Damn bro, I made this comment 8 years ago. I disagree with my younger self now 🤣🤣🤣
Mj was so good they didn't put him in video games
He is in all the NBA 2k games tho!
MINECOD69
Not all
Jordan was a brand name during all those 90s video games, and the games weren't allowed to use his name without his permission, which they never got, but his "like-ness" was used. Check out a few games like Kobe Bryant Courtside 2, the Bulls have a 90+ overall player on the bench that's supposed to resemble Jordan but he's nameless
BOOM...end of argument
Nobody Has Invoked Raw Emotions From The NBA Fanbase Than Michael Jordan And Nobody Played With Absolute Heart Than Michael Jordan When He Grace His Presence On The Hardwood Floor He Commanded Respect And He Received A Standing Ovation Everywhere He Played
michael jordan is the best player ever , he got six rings for the finals. michael jordan is amazing
Lebron is Great, but Jordan is the Greatest.
well said!
Lebum is not great. He's good.
