Nice Catch
Nice catch
Y'know, even though I never done of doing these train sightseeing before, but may I ask, how do you able to keep up of which train is coming?
I just set up my equipment and wait for something to come, I really don't plan anything besides the day I Railfan and the location just to get my gear set-up and ready.
@@RailheadProductions Wow, and I thought railfans would have some time schedule to know when the next train is coming. It must been a boring process.
@@CraftsTimReview There really is no definitive schedule when it comes to freight trains, they build them when they are needed and since PSR has taken over the industry, companies like CSX have combined many of their trains resulting in less traffic but longer trains overall which is turning out to be an absolutely terrible idea, but that's another rant for another time, there are also websites that can track when a train is supposed to come like Trainmon5 and many Railfans including myself use scanners to hear the crew talk or a defect detector go off which can give you heads up if something is coming or is delayed, it can be disappointing if you set up and don't see anything (especially if keeps happening in my case) but there are enough times where I see 3 - 5 trains to make up those dud days.
