The Pemali Irrigation Network is part of the Pemali Downstream Irrigation Network which is part of the irrigation network in the Pemali Comal area. Administratively, the Pemali Kanan irrigation network is located in Tegal Regency and Brebes Regency. The Notog Dam on Pemali River is located in Paku Laut Village, Mergasari District, Tegal Regency. It was built by the Dutch government in 1893 and is a source of water for the Pemali Hilir irrigation area (DI Pemali Right and DI Pemali Left). To get to the location of the Notog weir with positions 07007'44" LS and 1080 58'58.20" E, and its irrigation network which includes main canals and secondary canals, can be reached by road from the city of Brebes to the south as far as ± 30 Km.
DI main building. Pemali is a permanent weir with one intake. The Notog Weir was first built in 1893 and underwent repairs in 1971-1972 and 2007. Until now the Notog Weir is in relatively good condition and is still functioning, but there are several parts that need repair/rehabilitation.
