My version of Sing, sing, sing. Written by Louis Prima and made popular by Benny Goodman. I added some brass parts to keep some kind of "Big Band" vibe.
Nicely done. Usually 'Metal' versions of popular songs do a generic metal style, but this one stays more true to the original, while adding the energy of Metal.
Sing Sing Sing is one of my favourite jazz classics and this version just blows me away. Awesome. Gene Krupa (Goodman's drummer) would have loved it. I wish I could give it ten thousand upvotes. Interestingly, it demonstrates how huge the influence of swing has been on modern rock. Aside from the use of modern instruments, it's not that different from the original.
Now, this is AWESOME. I can't actually believe someone did this. I feel like someone stole this out of my mind. I've always had "the heavy-metal experience" out of this Benny Goodman version, and I've always described it this way too, but it's cool to see a very closely rendered version of this awesome tune in metal guitar.
Thank you for doing this! btw, i was the one who requested it on FB, i still listen to it almost every day! I've showed it to everyone i know, and they all love it.
Different. But genius! I still like the original though. I must admit didn't think it would be possible to mix metal and swing, but you did it the best I could possibly imagine.
I enjoyed this cover. I would have put in a little more drums though, as the driving drum beat is one of the biggest similarities between metal and swing. I don't mean over do it, but maybe have a little bit more double bass or something.
I love the concept, retro and metal do mix pretty well... but there is something bothering me : I get the impression the rythme is messed-up. Sometimes the music seems to be on a different speed... Surely the problem must lies with me but still, I'd love to hear the same with a more harmonious rythm.
Metal cover of Sing Sing Sing = Scream Scream Scream
S.A.M. Aaron M Growl Growl Growl
If Marty McFly went back to the 40s this is what his version would sound like
I guess you guys aren't ready for that yet... but your great, great grandkids are gonna love it.
I bet Benny Goodman would love it.
Yes he would.
No
Well, his style influence the metal genre to be what it is today
Great job man. Really maintained the feel of the original while nailing the heavier vibe.
I didn't know I needed this until I found it!
Gene Krupa...Yes! Father of modern rock drumming.
The likes of Bill Ward actually cite Gene Krupa as inspriration.

This is unironically one of the best things I've ever heard.
It reminds me of STP's Plush a little.

I did as well, if I wasn't an awful guitarist it would have been my go to opener.
Well done! You did it justice.
That's kinda rock and roll. Nicely done. Benny would be proud.
Well done. I just taught myself the song on guitar over the last 2 days. I'm gonna have to 1 up you on this one 😉
May the fight scene you imagine to this song be EPIC!!
It was very different from the usual versions I hear of this classic piece,& it was good to hear a metal version of it for a change...I enjoyed it.

Sweet! I still prefer the original, but this is definitely a favorite!

Swing was rock before rock n roll was it shows the strong influence
Benny was metal before metal was a thing.
This is the metal god version.
Okay, some parts sounded funky, but this is SICK! Love the mixture. Tabs? Please? Haha.
おぉ、カッコいい!
This is great dude, do you have it on Spotify?
Shred shred shred
MUST HAVE TABBSSS!!!!!!!!!
i like this version, but i think an introduction of a wah pedal on the trumpet sections would have taken this over the top.
More metal bands should do such things
Hi! Any chances to get a backing track of this sick version? Thank you!
This sounds so much like Budokai music
Diablo Swing Orchestra ! O.o
2:20 blows my mind.
