Hello!! Someone who collects Bungo Stray Dogs! Last friday I've read volume 22 of Bungo Stray Dogs, it was amazing! My broken mariko - is really special story, very sad as you can see, but Spoiler………. lot of things don’t get cleared up, including past incidents and what happens in future, however maybe it’s better that way.
I actually just read it yesterday! the backstory was super sad, but as you said I was really left wondering what actually happened to make her friend do what she did in the end? Like there wasn't any answers to it at all, we only knew Mariko through her past not her present? Obviously with these topics it is always hard to pinpoint why people do what they do, however it would've been nice to have more backstory to her present self.

I think maybe just wanted to portray the dealing with grief and not narrating what led to the tragedy, but because of that I had a hard time to like this manga, although I do appreciate the rawness. Other short stories like the gods lie” and “usamono yado” also left with open questions but did a better job imo, i am probably not making good comparison😅
