Alright, Super Sleuths! Here's the solution to the mystery that I mentioned that my class was given to solve back in sixth grade: Why does the man take the elevator all the way down in the morning, but then, at night, only up to the 10th floor and then walk the rest of the way up the stairs to his apartment? The solution we were given is because he is of very short stature, and the button for the 10th floor is the highest one he is able to reach. Therefore, he must exit the elevator there on his way up, and take the stairs the rest of the way to his apartment. And, several moments of contemplation after our class solved this puzzler, a student raised their hand and asked, "why doesn't the man just carry an umbrella to reach the higher buttons?" The class was then dismissed for an unexpected recess, and the mystery was never spoke of by our teacher ever again.
Ah, I heard that with the additional twist, “but on rainy days he goes all the way to the top.” The umbrella helped him reach the higher buttons.
@@notthatseanbean That very well may have been part of it. Sixth grade was... a lot longer ago than I like to admit, so my recollection of the details may have been a bit murky.
I’m happy to say I solved it without the umbrella hint, probably because I’ve heard similar riddles and you just need to know these types of riddles are never what they appear. Plus your video help showing where the buttons are:)
Sounds like a poorly designed elevator, that the 20th floor button is beyond the reach of an adult man (even one who is very short). I prefer the more simple answer "exercise". :D
Ah, but if George lay on the floor near a puddle of water... how did he die?
I love how the original transition music has just been straight up replaced with Paula humming the transition music. Its super meta and frickin adorable.
I really enjoy the bite-sized look at games that the Watch It Played team provide and I absolutely love the light hearted presentation. It is really wonderful to come home and relax to one of their videos after a hectic day.
Heyhey, that's great to hear! I hope the episodes provide enough info for being able to decide if a game is of interest to people. And having some fun along the way is just an extra treat. Thanks for watching and sharing a comment with us. Cheers!

Reminding the other readers of this chat to remind Rodney to post the photo from Theo.
Ok I did a spit take at Paula’s smile-and-eye-flutter take. Thanks for keeping those edits in. 😂
Mama Mia is soooo good. Reminds me of my old board game group. Good times!
Be careful, Paula and Matthew - engaging in pun wars can lead to a split in a friendship!
(I did have a couple of more scatalogical puns, but I didn't want to be accused of having my mind in the gutter)
Great video and picks!
What if I told you that only eight of this video's picks were great, with one of them being pretty darn good, and the other being Certified Mind Boggling. Would you believe me? Or would you think that I am filling your life with misdirection and half truths in an attempt to sway your opinion of my Certified Mind Boggling picks? Better question: Did it work? I hope so, because Mind Boggling Certification doesn't come cheap. You can tell it's expensive, because it has to be capitalized.

Excellent stuff as always
Thanks, James! I'm sorry we only got to chat for a few seconds at AireCon. Next time, I hope we can connect during a time that's not quite so busy. In the meantime, it's always nice to keep in touch with you here in the comments! 🙂

@@WatchItPlayed No worries, hopefully next year we can chat for longer 🙂
Giuseppe callback! 😂
