Wow! So inspiring! If I may ask, how long was your entire application starting from sending your email up to flying to Taiwan? My application is now ongoing, btw. Your response is appreciated.
That's great, all the best. I was interviewed the same week I applied, a couple of days later I had my second interview and secured a position. My agent had to process my docs for the work permit (which takes a week to 2). Then I had to apply for a visa from my end. So to answer your question, I got the job in October and had to travel in Dec but I only did in February due to complications from my end. It will take you roughly 2 months if you have everything ready
Thank you Thato am waiting for my passport and pcc I already contacted the agency. Please kindly share interview questions if you still remember them and thank you again for your motivation and your informative videos ❤
Wow, we can’t wait to welcome you here. You’re gonna love it. My coordinator is Amy, she’s so lovely. Let’s pray that it’s the same person we’re talking about. But they are all so good and professional ❤️🤗
@@Unfiltered_with_ThatoHi😊 Thato, good job on what you're doing in Taiwan. I commend you Sis, I'd like to ask though do they accept applications from Nigerians? I am a certified teacher and would like to work in Taiwan. Thank you
Hello, thanks for the video. Please do I need a teaching license for private schools? I'm aware that public schools in Taiwan request for teaching license. How about private school? Can a TEFL certificate suffice?
Thanks for reaching out! While I don't have specific school names or links, you can definitely find great opportunities on websites like Tealit, Teast and Dave's ESL Cafe. I also recommend using the 104 app for job listing. Also, joining Facebook groups focused on teaching in Taiwan is a great way to find open positions, they're always posting new opportunities there. Good luck!
My new fav❤ does Teach Taiwan hire throughout the year? I am interested in teaching at Taiwan but my contract ends in March. Is it possible to leave around April/May?
It is said that for countries outside the Big 7, the specialized recruitment team has methods to confirm whether English is the official language of a particular country. Additionally, they have relevant government resources to conduct dual verification for academic and teaching certificates from different countries. If English is the official language in your country and you have a government issued teaching license I’ll advise you to apply and see how it goes . All the best🤗
Very good explanation..!! MY question: I am a Biology and Science Teacher, which agency is suitable for me,? Can I apply through the same agency through which you applied?? Or any other suggestions for me. Thanks
@Unfiltered_with_Thato I don't want to teach English, Actually I am interested in teaching my field subjects, Biology and Science. I have Masters Degree in Biology. I am not native but I do have IELTS 6.0 Score.
This is such a beautiful and authentic video! I have done my interview a week ago and I'm hoping to be hired soon.
Thank you so much. Can't wait to welcome you here, You're definitely going to love the country and everything about it. All the best.🤗

Private schools don’t need a teaching license, only public institutions do. You’ll need a TEFL certificate.

I really don’t know what the age limit is, I tried researching but I’m finding too much information so I don’t know. Others say 60 and others say 65
