The new Dainese Teren D-Dry Jacket is built for the hardcore touring or adventure rider who demands a high level of flexibility in temperature and performance and wants to look like a boss. The Teren combination starts with an outer shell that is constructed of Cordura Comfort fabric that is abrasion resistant, yet is highly supple and will move with the rider. The 4-in-1 style of the Teren is provided with 2 separately removable inner liners that allow the rider to configure the jacket to their needs and the weather around them. A removable breathable waterproof D-Dry membrane and a removable thermal liner provide warmth and waterproof protection, but when both are removed, the large open chest and back vents allow air to flow freely. The Teren comes with Dainese composite CE rated armor in the shoulders, elbows, knees, and hips, and can be upgraded with a G2 back protector. The Teren pants come with removable suspenders that will help keep pants in place, and a full connection zipper allows the rider to connect jacket to pants to create a one-piece suit. Offered in Grey or Black and in Euro sizes 44-64.

We tested a size 50 pant in our Showroom with a size 42 Sidi Adventure Gore-Tex boot. Where the buckles were set, we were able to get the pant leg over the boots with no problems. Keep in mind, if you have larger calves and have the boots adjusted to a larger circumference, you might not be able to get the Teren pants over the boots and zip them down all the way. ~Ali

Hey Dozer - There is a fair amount of adjustability at the cuff that will allow you to wear over most boots. Sidi makes so many boots, it's difficult to say it would fit any of their boots. If you are wearing a more bulky boot like the Adventure or Crossfire, it could be a tight fit. If you are wearing something less bulky like a Canyon or an On Road, you should be fine. ~Ali

As far as we know, these are the only two color options the Teren will be offered in. If you are looking for a technical touring jacket for ADV riding and like the Euro styling / fit, check out the Rukka Kalifornia jacket that uses a Gore-Tex performance liner instead of the Dainese D-WP that comes in the Teren. ~Ali

Gore-Tex first and foremost is a more durable membrane that is guaranteed for the life of the product. In addition, it is at least twice as breathable as competing membranes, which helps you stay dry and comfortable even in warmer weather.
The TCX Infinity is a great pairing. I think this would work together well with the Teren. -CK

Many thanks Anthony for all the comprehensive reviews!
If having this combo in white, which demands higher maintenance, how susceptible and easy is the material for cleaning from general road dust and splashes?

If I didn't just replace my crashed Rev'It Sand combo, I'd try this one out. Looks good. Too bad it's not GorTex.

as finances allow me I will be building up my all season/adventure riding gear. this 2-piece seems to be the best bang for the buck considering all of the features and can be worn year round. that said, what would be my disadvantage to NOT having goretex? Also, what's your thought of running the TCX Infinity GTX Boot with the pants?? will it fit under or would it be better suited over the pant?

    Hi Anthony,
How easy is it to fit the pants over SIDI boots ? Will the boots fit under or do you need to push the pants inside the boots?

Guys, I really like the Terren suit but can't seem to find a set in my size. Has it been updated or replaced by Dainese, as this video was a few years ago?
    Many thanks, Paul
