- Hi you guys! I just want to say I recorded using the cinematic mode on my iPhone. Never again. I noticed lots of my footage was blurry and i am so sorry. I thought it would look cool but I was fooled lol. Hope you enjoy and I will do better next time!

I am a UA non-rev, and I can confirm that people showing up at the last minute to board our flights happens ALL THE TIME!!! It is so frustrating! I don't know what it is, but passengers seem to show up out of thin air! Flights can look wide open three hours before departure, but when I get to the gate, they magically fill up. I just don't understand how that happens with such frequency. In any event, I enjoyed your vlog, and thanks for sharing NYC with us!

Yes - been through the non-rev fiasco too. Had a FC seat, ended up being bumped by someone who came in at the very last minute (he was snarling - sad he lost track of time, grrr). Love your vlogs!!!!

i so love the Ramen Express packets. A few months ago, I bought this microwaveable bowl at Walmart called the Top Ramen cooker. You just add the noodles, add water to the fill line. Microwave for 4 minutes, stir, and the noodles come out PERFECTLY. Not too much water, and definitely not mooshy. I always carry that Ramen bowl with me in my carryon and a few noodle packs when i get to the hotel for those cravings.
I just bought one thanks to your comment! I’m applying to be a FA so it’ll come in handy, but more importantly, I freaking love ramen :) How is a dried up brick of noodles so delicious?!
I know what you mean, I used to work the EMB 145s and now I hate getting on it, or any little plane. I think it happens because we’re getting older lol
I had the same issue with my fingers. In fact, at one point they were so stiff/sore in the morning that my husband would have to help me open my hands. I’d be fine after that but I went online and read about how to help with this. I’ve fixed the problem for the past 3 years! The remedy for me was: Intermittent fasting! I’m not joking! So easy just try not to eat after dinner and whatever time that is- wait to eat again for 14-16hrs. You’ll be asleep a lot of those hours so it’s not too bad. In the beginning the hardest part is the night time so I’d just go to sleep and when you wake up you’ll find you’re not really hungry but you’re almost done with the fast. Plus there are lots of health benefits to intermittent fasting including weight loss if your body needs it because of the autophagy. It’s really good for reducing inflammation which is the reason for illness/disease.

When you fly cross country, do you get crew rest or is that just on international flights?

I don’t know why this video popped up five days later, but I usually take American to JFK and I fly in Business Class because of my bad back, and the arrogant attitude permeates the air. The often goes for the flight attendants, too. I don’t like small planes, either, though the ER-175 is not that bad because of the choice of extra legroom plus more bin space and space underneath the seat as well. I also hate having to go into the airfield, which is rare, but with my back those stairs are the worst.
United airlines is the worst 😂. I mean their CSA and crews are fine but I don't know why I always see some bad situations happening with UA. I worked AS before, and now I will work as FA for Delta soon. Alaskaair is one of the best airlines for sure!
In NYC isnt it faster to take the airtrain and subway to the hotel?
