    VIDEO ON THE WATER. You asked what needs to happen for more views. Get out of the tackle room. Actual demonstrations will get more clicks. The tackle room might have more info, but change it up. Put out less videos. Right now it seems like you are putting out 14 to 21 videos a week. Less is more!!!

    Randy, this is good info for March Or April, but, I would love to know about the conditions of the next 10 weeks, like calm conditions and 45* to 58* January and February. I’m in Raleigh NC, and we have 1-2’ of visibility. I know it’s not easy to come up with ideas for videos, but I think there’s many of us looking for ways to be successful in current conditions.

      You hit the nail on the head bass fishing is all about fishing the conditions first then the spots do to conditions what will the bass be doing on that spot.

      To help you out will a lot of factors will effect how and where you fish the next ten week but mainly the weather conditions. As a rule if a cold front just came through it takes fish in 8ft of water or less a couple days to adjust their body temperature to the new water temperature so they won’t be as active but they will bite you just have to really slow down almost soak a bait in their face or you have to get a reaction strike from them. Other things are you fishing a tidal system reservoir or lake. Fish the tide or any moving water through cuts fish Eddie’s created by the currents find depressions doesn’t matter if they are very small depressions the bass will sit in them during this time. Any cover they will be very tight to if using crank bait trying to get a reaction you have to bounce it off the stop or cover they holding to. Deep water slow roll a jig or swimbait. Good luck

      This is also a good time for an armature to catch a big one. Just most don’t realize how subtle a ten pounder will bite. Because they will just open their gills inhale it feel to see if it’s real and exhale it that quick so don’t be afraid to set the hook it cost nothing hook sets are free.

    Hard to believe a change in the title of your channel was needed. I don't think it does justice to the content. Just my 2 cents.

    Get out on the water and change it up. If you put action to your videos actually fishing would be awesome. Show people is still possible to catch bass without livescope.

    Did you just say you like to fish in clear calm water because you can see all the fish swimming around. Correct me if I am wrong but don’t that describe foward facing sonar. You are all over the place one video you say bass preferring cooler water is just a myth yet here you are saying if the shallow water is cooler fish shallow if it’s warmer fish deeper in the cooler water. Only reason I give you a hard time now is I don’t like bs and don’t think you should be teaching bs. Get your facts right then teach them.

      Doesn’t forward facing sonar allow you to see fish 30-40ft down?

    • @ChristyAlkenburg
      @ChristyAlkenburg 11 месяцев назад

      @@AyCee21 point was he said he likes fishing clear shallow water because he can see the fish he is against ffs because you can see fish.

    • @AyCee21
      @AyCee21 11 месяцев назад

      I think there’s a difference between being able to see fish with 3-4ft visibility vs dropping a lure down 30-40ft after locating submerged fish on your FFS.

    • @ChristyAlkenburg
      @ChristyAlkenburg 11 месяцев назад

      @@AyCee21 Of course their is a difference but a lot of similarities too one of his main beefs is seeing how the fish are reacting to your bait.

      I don’t have ffs but it doesn’t bother me that others do I am glad they now have a tool that can help them catch bass. I can’t tell you how many times people have told me they are from out of town and have been fishing guntersville for two days and have not caught a fish. I always give them a spot and tell them how to fish it based on the conditions I know I wouldn’t feel good if I took vacation spent a lot of money and didn’t catch fish. So I am always happy to make sure they have something to talk about when they go back home. See I don’t guide or charge people money to help them.
