Very good tips❤️ I’m not a rein main but If you hold your barrier up and hold the key/button you use to swing with your hammer. You can use the free camera to turn 180 degrees and use earth shatter. It confuses most people because they don’t expect the shatter
It's a good tip, I've done this a couple times but I have had it go wrong more times than it works, maybe it's just me, but it is a gamble leaving yourself vulnerable to fire even for those few seconds
3:20 extra tip on punting enemies to swing the hammer faster, when u swing it once ull see the hammer returning to to reinhards right side, to make a faster left swing just swing the hammer again when u see it on screen coming back to his right side, repeat it and its like ur swinging the hammer at normal attack speed in the same direction (u dont have to literally do one full swing animation at a time)
Plus several charges where you'd be killed in a heartbeat if the enemy team would focus you down and your supports wouldn't carry you. Charge on your own towards 2-3 enemies while your own team is way behind you? You'd better think twice.
Yeah they charged I think mercy or Zen, charged so far ended up by taxi went for shatter then died. He had no support no dps. Basically throwing on defense kings row second point hold lmao
I find it funny how I never learned the first tip through tips and tricks videos or watching pros play, it just came naturally after playing Rein a good amount of hours lol
So I'm a Reinhardt main with about 115 hours on him, so watching tips and tricks videos aren't really helpful because they say stuff that I already know, but this was actually useful because it talked about how I could utilise these tips with him. In my opinion this video was really great at show how I could further utilize my grand german crusader!
I picked up the game on console and really like reihardt for his straight forward gameplay I just wish you would have at least included one tip focused on his charge and how to best use it it feels like one of the most risky and rewarding abilities of the game because you can either break the ennemy team with it or just well die alone like a madman
I’ve been binging the hell out of your channel today. Great videos, unique tips, and a sense of humor. The Overwatch community is def sleeping on you. Keep it up 👍🏼
My team has decided I have to play rein which I am not very good at... I feel like I know what to do but my biggest issue is never knowing if my team is ready to push because I cant turn around to look at them and I cant see them
Very good tips❤️

This is actually the most valuable tip on rein I ever read. Thanks a lot!

One more tip. Jump and hold barrier after charge to get an extra leap. Small but helpfull for overtime close games.

No offense but a lot of the Rein clips in the video shows them wasting shatter in a losing team fight or in some kind of overextension

have around 100 hours and this gave me some ideas that i havent thought of. thanks
Genji tips and tricks in the future ? Definitely gotta use these rein tips in comp
I find it funny how I never learned the first tip through tips and tricks videos or watching pros play, it just came naturally after playing Rein a good amount of hours lol
Super helpful good vid
Hold up shield and left click to free look. I think it will go well with the mcree flash bang counter
I watched this because I just recently got bored of genji (not hating he is amazing) and decided to play Reinhardt thank you

lol lolson no one gives a shit what you think. get fucked.
YES MORE REIN TIPS PLEASE I BEG YOU
underated overwatch channel
the rein in the gameplay is low key not too great
Quick question: does the animation cancel for the swing also cause the effect of punting an enemy? Or do you have to do the full swing to punt them?
The punt is applied to any swing that hits an opponent.
A more common use for tip #3 is using your hammer to swing a charging rein away from you
What about the bug where Reinhardt turns in the opposite direction when he puts his shield down? It's still here!
My team has decided I have to play rein which I am not very good at... I feel like I know what to do but my biggest issue is never knowing if my team is ready to push because I cant turn around to look at them and I cant see them
Press left click while holding your shield up. You can move the camera with that.
Usually you should be making the call outs on a 3, 2, 1 GO! Then sometimes you get a Lucio and he’ll initiate a team fight with his speed boost.
good vid
Please add controls for console.. I play on the PS4.
