It’s so funny that you said you sometimes only buy things if there’s a picture of someone wearing it… I’m the total opposite! I hate it when there’s a photo of someone wearing the item and it puts me off buying it 😂

Same! I think it’s so annoying when I get messages from people asking me to take pictures of things on. I usually buy new stuff with tags on a similar app to vinted called Tise. But to me I don’t want to associate the item as being worn even though the person probably tried it on before putting it out for sale. So if I see them wearing it and I get a bad impression of the seller from the pictures (dirty nails, messy or dirty background etc). Then I might reconsider. I might be picky though😅. I really love that people add things cheap because they don’t bother having to store the items forever before they get sold. I also just sell things mostly very cheap. It’s sunk cost anyways.
I feel like some on Vinted want stuff for little to nothing! I listed a brand new Zara hoodie for £25 I got an offer for £20 i counter offered for £23….no response. When I said ok I’ll accept the £20 they said no longer needed. 🙄
Hello. Just letting you know that when you seal a big bag like that the item can be taken out. It’s not sealed as the top bit underneath is still open and can get “lost”. Been there done that. 😬 Great video by the way.
To save time when listing, you can click upload photos and the click and take photos to upload at the same time. You don’t need to take loads of photos in advance. And the photos are saved in vinted not using your phone space 😊

I am so with you, re spending money on an outfit for just a few hours. I am new to Vinted but I am hooked, waiting on my third parcel arriving. I love charity shops, and there is one in particular I go to that has a rail of really high end ladies outfits, now if I was going on a cruise, or a wedding or somewhere really special, I would be looking either on Vinted or in charity shops. I cannot look at clothes other than underwear etc in a “real shop” now, just not interested, preloved for me now. 👍

I always struggle with deciding how much to put things on for, as the previous sold item suggestions is very random. How do you decide what to price to put your items up for? I used your tissue paper/thank you note tip & have had some lovely feedback on that.
I really don't pay attention to the "similar items" pricing because I find the suggestions so low! So yes, I would just work it out based on what it cost me, if it's new, if I think it's "on trend" and what I would be willing to pay second hand myself. Ah - that's so nice to hear! Great that you found it made a positive impact. I really love it when someone has made that special effort too xx

Can I ask do you know how to do it so it’s only ever digital labels? I thought I did it and it was ok for a couple of days but now I keep getting labels to print and I can’t do that easily?! Thanks 😊
You can turn off certain shipping options in the settings profile➡️settings➡️postage These are the some of the shipping options that require a printer and some also do digital labels Inpost home delivery Printable label only Inpost locker to locker Digital code only DPD printable label only Evri Option for printable label or digital Yodel digital label only
You can set which courier you will use according to the drop off locations…so if you don’t have a local yodel one for example then untick it as an option so you don’t have to go out of your way x
Thanks for this, I remember watching your first one too! I recently decided to give vinted ago and I’ve had a number of sales already (now wish I’d done it ages ago 😢). You mentioned in the video that you personally would buy more off someone to save shipping costs. How do you do that as a seller, eg I have listed my items separately but someone ask for a collective price on 3 of my items but I had no clue how the shipping works for that. Do you have to relist the items as a bundle? Hope my question makes sense!
Ah, I'm glad it's inspired you to give it a go! So with bundles, it's all done automatically. So you can put on your account that you offer bundle discounts but you don't have to - it's your choice...it will either tell the buyer "save money on postage" or seller offers bundle discounts; this can be set up in your profile. The buyer will click on the items that they want to buy of yours and then you will be notified and given the option of a lower bundle price or just to confirm that it's ok - the shipping is all worked out by Vinted and you don't need to change anything or re-list yourself. It should be pretty easy :) xx

Ah yes, this is what I usually do, just take them directly in the app. Although usually if i am wearing it i take the photo off app for some reason!
