travelling is really such a hassle, and to think that the president is not on a vacation but for work, makes it more demanding in terms of rest as he needs to meet all the people scheduled whether he is feeling well or not, and all the preparations as well for the meeting. in my younger years, I thought travelling executives are really enjoying themselves as they get to go to a lot of places whether it be domestic or international. however when it was my turn, it was a horrible experience, you get to get up early to catch the first/earliest flight possible, so as to maximize the time you spend with the people you need to meet, then there is a dinner that lasts very late at night for the get to know and socialize, then you will have a few hours of sleep, to wake up early again for another early flight and so on. having to travel for work at least twice a week is a nightmare for me. well the benefit was the fast upgrade of my mabuhay miles from classic to elite in just a month.
