That is a good observation! Yeah, I was thinking that maybe the Pelican had the same mechanics as the Halo CE Pelican, but nope, it still spun around a bit. My guess is that maybe they programmed it like this for the E3 Demo because if by chance it shows a transport Pelican, then it would just be for commercial purposes. Like what Ensemble Studios did for the exercising marines in Halo Wars 1 E3 trailer. Still is confusing as to why they reverted the mechanics on the Pelican. Did those extra animations really push the game's limits?
Any chance of you doing a video viewing the intro cutscene (like at 0:12 or even Johnson's introduction) from different angles? I'd be interested to see where the marine who looks through the scope is at (the one that says "recommend mission abort")

Generalkidd foaming at the mouth for new Halo lore.
There are books though I think those have all of the lore
Intresting, this pelican has a full collision box, unlike the retail pelican which will rotate on it's centre point on solid ground.

@@tuxedothemagnificent6738 Perhaps the Animation/Physics data was just too much to fit within the Xbox's 64MB of RAM?
@brecken19972 That sounds like a good reason.
1:12 fun fact: the MG that the marine is using is a cut variant with a Over-Barrel Grenade Launcher
Great catch! 😮
Pelican goes in void
Shake it off marines!
I wish halo 2 shipped with the quality and lighting refined we see in this demo.
Dude love your content, especially in times like these where the joy of playing Earth City seems blatantly universal
Chief in this demo looks soo good

Hey... are you telling me that these are a "formula?" I didnt say you could tell me that.
You're not going to milk this mission for content, will you?
