Upon further review I now realize that Chris is not old in Resident evil 8, he just merely had a design change that made him look old and the game doesn't take place too long after Resident evil 7 so we may actually see Sheva and Jill in their primes in future installments.
well after a while people don't tend to age...not always anyway. my brothers stopped aging from about mid 20's...now they are in their 40's and yeah sure they may look a little different in certain light...but the only difference really is the slight grey hairs that show (a curse in our family gene IMO...all three of us have started greying from a relatively early age).
Aside from the multiplayer factor which they added, the game is also a cinematic masterpiece. The graphics and visuals are unmatched for its time period. They should make a series/movie

But after beating those two I played Silent Hill for the first time, and holy shit, I even remember having trouble at night trying to sleep. RE games were scary because of the constant tension and knowing you had to be careful about your resources, but Silent Hill was pure nightmare fuel. Love both franchises so much!

Not really surprise to see 99.9% of player of RE 5 didn't know about Cover and Attack Mode. At least all video on RUclips about this game. Of course I don't blame player. Maybe a little if you see Cover in the right corner you will look on internet to know what that means. Capcom don't have take 10 min to introduce a Tutorial Mode or explain this 2 mode. So 99.9% didn't know Cover : Like the name said it its cover (Support). So the partner follow you and heal you. Use only Handgun. Don't use any grenades,don't get any gold or stuffs on the ground. Dumb AI if you prefer. Cover only good to use in some place but not much or if you need healing Attack : Like the name said it. The AI will change in a crazy mode. Shoot everything, take everything on the ground, throw grenades and more. Really strong AI. Give the AI a Sniper and watch them destroy all. Cover Mode (UP D-Pad) Attack Mode (Down D-pad) Players bash the AI and said they are shit. Worst AI in all games. OF course if you keep the Cover Mode during all the game LOL. People should start using Attack Mode and after you will see if AI is dumb or not.
This is one of those games where as much as I would sometimes like to pop it in and play, when I see videos of other people playing it I feel like "mmmm nah I'm good" I'm truly outgrowing the generation of games I grew up with :(((

If you had stayed in the Crow's Nest, apart from shooting an Emblem in the distance, you could have used a Rifle to see & shoot 2 Base Majini on the large metal girder that would each drop Topaz (Oval). You can also shoot the Base Majini on the Crane holding up the girder. It, too will drop Topaz (Oval). The jewels fall on the ground & you can pick them up when you go to that area. Have to leave Crane Operator alive or you won't be able to get his Keycard to get through the gate to get the 3rd Topaz (Oval).
You sure missed a lot. You need to get all the pricey items from the bosses, to afford the upgraded weapons etc. If you kill Uroboros without using the incinerator, you get Gold Ring. At the Port, before going down to the beach, you can shoot the Majini you see hiding behind a post at the stalls, before it runs then it drops Diamond (Pear), which you pick up when you get there. You didn't pick up the items in the water before going to the market. You didn't smash the stalls at the market to get items under them and to get to the chest, there. You also missed items in the water around the jetties. Weren't you curious to see what was in these places? You didn't go up the ladders to the roofs either. Is this a speed run?
Loved the way you tackled Wesker. I was always running around the passages & getting shot at buy Jill when I escaped into the large room. I like your idea of somehow keeping Wesker in the room, while you shoot at him from above, in the passages. How did you manager that? Definitely shooting him in the back works best. He dodges fast when face to face.

You missed the silver brief case with 3,000 Naira gold bars at the end of the jetty. I love how you did the Patrol Boat chapter. You made it look so easy to shoot all the oil drums etc. on the overhead walkways while on the boat. I got some but struggled to get them before the boat went past them. Well done! I tried to use the rifle, which takes time to aim. Maybe next time I'll use the machine gun/assault rifle like you did. While still on the Patrol Boat, stopped at the 2nd Gate, you got the Magnum ammo on the left, that was in a barrel at the shed you can't go into but you missed the Sapphire (Pear) on the ground in the right, corner.
Yep. Definitely the place to use the rifle. This was the most memorable & enjoyable part of the game for me. I started at the bottom and picked off all the Majini on the cliff, as they jumped from the hole in the cliff, to the high level. I didn't have to fight any Majini on the way up because I killed them with the rifle first. Scope makes them easy to see from a distance. I love sniping with the rifle.
Best resident evil game to release. I first played this on ps3 it took me 6-8 hours for 1 clear. I have the game on the PS4 now and I still play it every other day.
The AI in this game seems more trustworthy then most human players would be. Rarely grappled even when left with no ammo in a horse of zombies, very rarely injured even when in a horse of zombies, instantly saves the player from a grapple if possible.
By the time you get to the sea boarding a sea skimmer vessel, Chris must already have the portable gattling gun as his standard issue weapon,you could either use Sheva and Chris as your playable character.
I love this game and have played it many times but I can't get to my PlayStation at the moment. I thought I'd enjoy watching someone else play but it's frustrating seeing how much you miss. Other people watching who've never played this game, won't realise what is missing.
Well I never! I thought I had found everything in this game but you showed me another pick up. It's when you go into the Village over the Water (without the Crocodiles). Before you go down the channel to the right, to the village, you picked up a green herb in the water. Thanks for showing us/me that. I remember, I always concentrated on going down the correct path to the village. I got caught in dead ends earlier on, so I didn't explore that tiny end. Just shows you need to look everywhere.
If the player does manage to beat Wesker, they must pick up the Heart of Africa between the stairs in the Monarch Room before Jill is defeated or they'll miss out because there is a scene afterwards that ends in Chris & Sheva leaving the room & being outside.
This game received a lot of hate, especially when it was first released. To me though it's a gem. It might not be a "true" Resident Evil or whatever. But it certainly is a very cool game with incredible replayability and superb coop mode.
Agreed, it’s one of my favourites REs too, after RE4. I mostly enjoyed those because of the addition of Las Plagas to the series. I got obsessed with their lore

I love this game and have played it many times but I can't get to my PlayStation at the moment. I thought I'd enjoy watching someone else play but it's frustrating seeing how much you miss. Other people watching who've never played this game, won't realise what is missing.

Well I never! I thought I had found everything in this game but you showed me another pick up. It's when you go into the Village over the Water (without the Crocodiles). Before you go down the channel to the right, to the village, you picked up a green herb in the water. Thanks for showing us/me that. I remember, I always concentrated on going down the correct path to the village. I got caught in dead ends earlier on, so I didn't explore that tiny end. Just shows you need to look everywhere.

If the player does manage to beat Wesker, they must pick up the Heart of Africa between the stairs in the Monarch Room before Jill is defeated or they'll miss out because there is a scene afterwards that ends in Chris & Sheva leaving the room & being outside.
This game received a lot of hate, especially when it was first released. To me though it's a gem. It might not be a "true" Resident Evil or whatever. But it certainly is a very cool game with incredible replayability and superb coop mode.
Agreed, it’s one of my favourites REs too, after RE4. I mostly enjoyed those because of the addition of Las Plagas to the series. I got obsessed with their lore

Well done on the chase across the desert with the Gatling guns. The guns only overheated once and you hardly got hit.
