This French Olympic is a disaster. Make fun of Japan and China when they were hosting the Olympics all you want. At least they made the Athletes feel safe and comfortable to compete. France, sry you could not have done worst than this. First making fun of a religion and a masterpiece artwork. Then messing up KOREANs? The smell near 5th and 11th is so badddd like real bad.

The parody was not of the Last Supper but Feast of Dionysos, you'll Google that.
Anyway, the last supper has been parodied thousands of time, including by the Simpsons. Why? Because it ain't blaspheme, it's not a sacred fresco.

Everyone knows that rainwater carries very high levels of pollutants into rivers. It was a high risk move to choose a river through a large, highy-polluted city anyway, let alone other sources of effluent that probably feed into the river on a daily basis.

  • @KneeJerkReactor

Why would you allow athletes to swim, let alone compete, at a water body that was BARELY safe (if it was safe at all) when you can have them swim at other bodies of water within your country that has CLEANER waters (probably in their provinces) or if there's none, on an indoor, man-made body of water?
GREED AND POLITICAL AMBITION! THAT is what drove France to BLATANTLY DISRESPECT world athletes. I would bet you that even African swimmers are being given by their own governments cleaner waters to practice and hone their skills at. And that is coming from countries where clean waters are hard to find.
Who cares about seeing France's "tourist destinations" along the River Seine? This is all just SEMANTICS! Being an athlete DEMANDS a lot of discipline. They are not there for "sighseeing". And neither does the rest of us who want to ensure that OUR OWN HIGHLY RESPECTED ATHLETES are safe.
Allowing this INSULT on our HIGHLY REGARDED athletes is not something we would tolerate from the French Government. The river is NOT CLEAN! Having the river BARELY MAKE the standard ppm is NOT the definition of "safe". Though it is the definition of politicians who don't give a f*** about human health and safety.
CRYSTAL CLEAR WATERS where it is so clean, you can see the rocks at the bottom THAT is the definition of CLEAN! Not some murky water that doesn't smell which serves as a sewer dump from the local creeks. You do not need scientists for you to realize that!
