It's always hard to not take negative comments personally, but defensiveness doesn't really serve any purpose. I often try to leave the hurtful parts and try to focus on the gist of the comment - what did the customer didn't like, and look at that as an area of improvement, whether I personally agree with it or not. That makes it much easier to respond to negative reviews more compassionately, and also grow from them.
I posted a negative review to a business and got an inappropriate reply. I edited my review with the link to flag it. I don't want them to bully me further than the bad service I received there. I did a search; I've been on hold via phone with google a long time... Shall I just delete my review?🤔
Hi! It was accurate. They were actually able to remove it. I didn't get a note from Google that it was flagged. I didn't get a reply from Google about this enabling-effect for businesses that do rip people off (I'm not the only customer who experienced this). ***The best reply I heard about for a negative review was about the customer's experience being atypical. Even if that wasn't true in this case, it would have been better than the inappropriate reply--they don't have to say sorry, etc. I had also contacted the owner via email from the website and the reply was equally disturbing. I had tried to call before posting my review. There's just no talking to some people. @@RyanReflects
I love idiot companies who wrap their vehicles, putting their name and number on them. Then they drive around like jag offs. I like to confront them with negative google reviews even if they are not a transportation / driving company by trade. 😅😅😅
@RyanReflects hey I'm saying that you can't reply to other people's reviews like we do on here facebook and you can add theme but can't send a Private message to theme?

I love your perspective and completely agree. Feedback, while public or private, needs to be used to learn and grow as a business!
@@RyanReflects Agreed 💯

If it accurately reflects your experience, I would leave it there and ignore the company’s response

I left a review for a business, and they replied back to me and asked me to reply to this review. So, how do I reply back to them?

Yikes. Yup, they’re out there 😂
You don't understand why can't I have a conversation with a nother viewer on a topic and why only Business owners can only reply back ??
I’m not sure I understand what you’re referencing

I was hoping you show me how 🙄
Use the Google My Business app, click on “manage reviews”, and reply accordingly.
