God this is a great amv, the part where ussopp is like, "you shouldn't have" gets me literally everytime! ussopp for some reason hits home when starts crying, just really gets the feels going!!! 10/10 for the amv!!!
The one thing the One Piece anime does right no matter what is the amazing voice work. The anime can fuck up just about everything that matters but damn if the voice work doesn't drag emotions out of you. You may think you're tough but are you "watching emotional One Piece scenes without crying" kind of tough. That's a whole new level of rock.
this amv gets me every time... the entire arc is ..... precious to me. never seen a ship do that. not even in an anime..... *sniff*

OMG, I have tears in my eyes.
Still one of the best scenes of the whole manga, and that's not easy.
Then again, the whole 30-chapter arc was one big Crowning Moment Of Awesome.

I remember. Saying bye to Merry was the one of the saddest moments in One Piece. I cried then and I cried now. I knew that this was just the scene and I wouldn't really call it an AMV but adding the music was a nice touch and made me feel even more so good job.
Somehow Merrys death moved me so much more than the death of ace...dont know why.

I think I finally understand the meaning of this scene. If you're in some sort of pinch, problem, or in trouble a true friend will always come and help you even if that friend isn't doing well themselves. that friend will always try to help you in any way he/she can
I say that Oda himself needs to see these vids, all of them. You capture the emotion and epic ness that One piece offers and make it even MORE epic and emotional. Truly, my undying love for One piece grows even stronger with these vids. Well done.
Those hauntingly beautiful whale-like songs/sounds were an excellent addition.
They way they all just jumped into the sea just became one of my new favourite OP scenes.
This is one of the examples of why One Piece has such an amazing storyline.

Such a powerful amv...the background music and the color effects really added that emphasis...I cried upon the end of that video....when first watched the scene in the anime i was happy, I did not know the fate of the Merry...but know...seeing the Merry come to rescue them, and knowing the Merry's fate...but even being a guy...I couldn't help but let a couple hundred tears run down my face...AMAZING AMV...kudos to you loosecontroiPL

Dudes and dudettes, I was almost tearing up when I was hearing Merry, especially when he finally said something in words that we can understand; his voice...it was beautiful and innocent and that of a child! THEN we SAW Merry. THEN, later, Merry had to be burned...They had me nearly bawling for that entire time period (from Merry's rescue to the crew to burning).
I swear, One Piece can make you attached and cry for anything.
