- Listen as sir CEDRIC HARDWICKE provides the warm and re-assuring voice of both husband and Doctor . . . while his wife is screaming with agony! It's (another) strange episode of Suspense, which is provided with improved sound quality over older uploads elsewhere.

Unfortunately, this is Hardwicke's only Suspense appearance . . . But he has a great bedside manner! - and while you're listening, keep in mind that this is based on a true story!
• Suspense episodes are still public domain • Channel created by Charlie Stuckey - Видеоклипы
My luck, I called operator 25, she was on a smoke break. Anything connected with Elliot Lewis is great. 👍🏽👍🏽
Yes Thank You Charlie! This is just what the Doctor ordered!! Great sound quality too as usual. Sounds like it could have been recorded yesterday.
Oooo!! What a voice on Mr. Hardwicke! Great actor.
Thank you! Stay safe!
How would you like to have Pritchard as YOUR doctor?! As always, it's good to hear from you - How are things?
@@SuspenseESCAPEremastered I'd have to pass on Dr. Pritchard. He's too eager to end my suffering. Hahah! All's well, here in the 'Peg. Still staying home. I hope you and yours are okay, especially your better half, who is a front-liner. Much love to youse guys.
@@zero_bs_tolerance8646 I love the phrase "youse guys!" I use it often!!!! We are still both okay, although the governor of Michigan has turned our wonderful state into a police state. Pardon my ignorance, but what does the Peg refer to?
@@SuspenseESCAPEremasteredSorry to hear about MI. Much calmer here in Winnipeg. =)
@@zero_bs_tolerance8646 I should have figured out Winnipeg . . . For some reason I thought of Ontario! (shame on me) I will remember, always.
I know how you feel! All of my letters to 'Suspense' are returned unopened! I totally agree with you about Elliot Lewis.
If it makes you feel any better, Not ONE single E- Mail I've sent has ever been answered by him either...I just can't figure it...
Excellent story!
Cedric had that certain evil british doctor quality to his voice, scary
Especially in this story.
Glad your back! Strange how the quarantine makes every "new" stimuli matter. Thank you
You're welcome, and I'm glad you enjoyed this. I haven't gone anywhere, especially while the Michigan governor has gone power crazy!
We have had doctors like him in the UK...
I cannot remember specifically, but Sir Hardwicke has been at the end or opening credits in countless old 40's films I've watched over the years, even so I couldn't place a face to the name to save my life...speaking of which...the last thing I remember was him offering me a refreshing drink.....

Another goody... 🐈💃
Flippin eck... Listening with the light off.... Mrs Pritchard's screams, wasn't prepared for them😯 😜😅
that doctor was one SICK individual.
You think HE is sick...after having supper with him, I feel like I've died and gone to hell!...
Thank you Charlie ! 😁
As always, you're welcome Will!
Sir Cedric Hardwicke On Borrowed Time with Lionel Barrymore .. of course the list goes on & on .
One of my favourite actors! but seemingly so watery a production
I think HARDWICKE makes up for any shortcomings.
