Chazzan Hershtik is the absolute best!!! I am honored to have him as the Cantor in my shul--The Hampton Synagogue. Tonight is "Yom Kippur During The Pandemic" and I listened to this incredible rendition of Kol Nidre at home. Yet I was transported back in time to being in shul as a child in Boro Park, Brooklyn, listening to Moshe Koussevitzky chanting the Kol Nidre, with mostly Holocaust survivors who were crying during Kol Nidre.
I recently discovered Chazzan Hershtik on Hampton Synagogue's broadcasts on JBS. One of the BEST cantors I have listened to. Such depth and emotion in his voice! What a blessing from HaShem to have such a gift with which to bless Him back!
I had the privilege to hear Netanael Herstick singing when he was a child with a beautiful clear and clean child voice. My late father hear him in Paris singing Ein Kelokeinou and said I heard an angel singing.
ohhh my such a voice you where here on the television in the Netherlands and we enjoy it so much in this creapy time of the corona thanks for that moment of peace in our hart.
