I think this could actually have the opposite effect of what you are trying to achieve here & trap more hot air that would transition through the plastic.

its the bottom side that cause temp issue. eventuri inlet will keep your temp 20-40 above ambient at all times. inlet is made of aluminium so it will heatsoak in no time regardless due to higher conductivity.

No sorry I dont, it was done when the Spoon turbo went in for temp reduction. Hoping it does something 🤞

i found a very nice product that reduce the IAT temp 5 degree celcius but ist only avaiable for FK8 TypeRs - google FK8 Type R Ram Air Duct GARIX
