Recruits have to start from somewhere, we all looked like this at one point. I believe the reason this was posted is to show what training recruits go through at BCT. In this case, Urban Ops. They will learn and get better. It comes with practice, time, and maybe some corrective training as well. Good luck recruits.

But for most other branches once you complete you basic training (how to become a soldier) you should be getting sent to a combat prep school where they teach you how to become a deadly soldier. After that you get sent to learn your MOS. I’m not sure if it’s all the same still but that’s the general idea

I did crap like this SO MUCH in the Marine Corps Infantry.. after a while, it just becomes so ordinary, you stop thinking it’s cool, you stop wanting to show off, and it just becomes as normal as taking a piss or taking a breath. I’m guessing these guys haven’t been in very long. They still got that motivated peppy pop in their step about it 😂 The only time that motivated peppy pop in your step comes back, after you’ve been in a while, is when you’re actually doing this for real. Any other time, after it’s second nature, and you’ve done it so much, you just want to go home and sit down and relax and forget about it. Platoon sergeants like, “run it again ladies” , you’re like “FUUUUUUUUUUU******KKKKKK REALLY? We just did it 17,000 times Staff sergeant” obviously not saying that to his face. But You respond “ERRRRRR”

I was a training evaluator for TRADOC and this is just an introductory mount course for BCT, they will become experts at this after they get to their perminent duty stations where I'll evaluate AD, NG and AR Soldiers again.

I sat in there and stared at time itself thinking that even some people who used to be in the same room are no longer with us. It gave me the motivation for our final ruck March to honor hill.

We have a higher military spending annually than the next 13 highest spending countries combined and our guys are wearing these helmets from Desert Storm!???? Every single marine , soldier , sailor and airman that could see combat needs a NEW ballistic helmet! They deserve at the very least , thst and the very best in Body armor! I’m ok with my tax dollars going to Ukraine but not before correctly outfitting our own war fighters! Happy to see our war fighters being trained in a war scenario were seeing in Ukraine with a near peer threat in an urban scenario!
