I caught 2 in 530m of water off the shelf out from St Helens. First was 18kg and the second was 16kg. Great eating fish.

we fish 400+ meters and it takes about 4 minutes to drop a 32 or 64 oz sinker ..tanacom reels are so much better

Use nothing but whole squid.. you will get more bluenose. using fish baits get sharks and jem fish...
