Touseeq inspired me to pursue PhD, back in early 2000's he used to host good-morning Pakistan. In one of his shows Pervez Hoobdhoy was invited as a guest. I watched that interview, as a small school-going boy. That interview lingered on with me somewhere, while I got Metriculation, FSc, Bachelor's, Master's and PhD now. Alhough I didn't not pursue Mathematics or Physics but I started loving abstract concepts after that interview. Thank you Touseeq.

So good to see and hear Toseeq and Samina jee. Bohot maza aaya. And I totally agree with everything wat he says. For example, I have found someone other than myself who is enjoying the lockdown. I always thought I had very less time to do a lot of things. But this lockdown allowed me to do some. As far as women’s rights is concerned, I completely agree with his point of views. I always thought that we talk about women and women’s rights but sometimes there are men who need more help and freedom than women. While listening to your conversation, I heard Toseeq mentioning that he was asked by his mom to do his chores himself and not expect his sister. To which Samina jee agreed to him and said “کہ کرنا چاہیے۔”چھوٹی سی عام سی بات ہے لیکن یہی بات جب عام زندگی میں عورتیں کرتی ہیں تو کہتی ہیں کہ “ہم ہی کیوں کریں۔ہمارا تو احسان ہے۔ہم کوئی نوکر تو نہیں۔ پڑھ لکھ کے یہ کام کریں۔” @Toseeq Haider - I understand that Coronavirus is not a small thing but still don’t say اس سے برا کیا ہوگا۔ I feel so scared. بہت خوبصورت گفتگو ہو رہی ہے۔آج سے چالیس سال پہلے میں جنوبی پنجاب کے ایک گاؤں میں بنک منیجر تھا اور کبھی کبھی بس پر جانا پڑتا تھا،ایک دن بس سے اترا تو ایک پکوڑے بیچنے والے کے پاس ردی میں پڑی ایک کتاب پر نظر پڑی ۔وہ تھی پنڈت نہرو کی تلاش ھند۔وہ اسنے پکوڑے بیچنے کے لئے رکھی تھی ۔میرے بہت اصرار کرنے کے باوجود اسنے مجھے نہیں دی۔شاید پکوڑوں کی نظر ہو گئی ہو گی۔
