My mom always wanted to homeschool us. She finally did when I was in 8th grade because I had been hanging with a bad crowd and I was truant a few times in 7th grade. She only did it one year and she loved it. I fussed and moaned about my social life so much that they let me go back to public school in 9th. I regret doing that looking back as an adult. I should’ve let her teach me through highschool. It took me a few years to realize that I learned more in that one year of homeschooling than I did in 10 years of public school.
That was gonna be my comment!!! I mean I graduated in 2002 from a school in no where and before Columbine we had trucks with gun racks and guns and almost everyone had knives, even after Columbine there were still knives but if no one uses them for bad things you tend to retain privileges
My son was homeschooled and I am an online teacher who teaches mostly homeschoolers. I love it. My baby started college this week and I miss him. Thankfully I still have my kids online. I don't like math either. History, that is where it is at.

Just started homeschool with my sophmore....she loves math, hates ELA and is great at both! I, on the other hand, am just thankful she is a low(high) key genius! She will be class of 2025, already obtained 9.5 out of 21 credits to graduate. Education and common sense is a must!!
Clance, I carried a pencil in school almost 47 yrs ago, they just started getting type writers and funky looking boxes that they called computers 😂 little did me & friends know how valuable them boxes would turn out to be. 😂
That’s a really tough decision but in my humble opinion y’all made the right decision to homeschool at this time in our world. My word of advice would be to encourage him to go to as many events and school functions he possibly can to meet kids. Football games, dances, or anything where he can be around kids his own age. My best friendships were forged in high school despite the libs whack school agenda.
Haha I have been trying to convince my parents to do an online school Valor Global Online to spend more time with barrel racing and everything but they still think it’s homeschool when we still have teachers 😂
Math is one of 3 subjects that are actually useful in life. The other two are Physical Education and English. I do like the school allows students to bring knives to school 💪🍻
It only lasts for a little while man then it’s gone. I never thought I would say this but. I think I miss school. I miss throwing erasers across the class room and blaming it on my friend. Making fart noises in class. And making friends with my teachers. Not the lychee though lol😂

I got the home school but I'm surprised that Texas schools will let students carry a knife to school don't recall now what state this happened but thinking was like a second grade girl got all kinds of special attention after her mother had put a plastic eating knife in lunch box so she could peel her fruit I thought that was way over thinking on that school board wishing you all well on the home school seems to be a lot of people choosing that path

Well at least that school let them carry a knife like we used to back in the day I've been carrying a pocket knife since I was 12 years old at the age of 14 I don't think I ever went a day without having it on me The schools didn't care we all had them
