Hi Richard--Can you do an interview of an Index Futures trader? Below are people who are the leaders in the USIC Brandi Archer + 54.2% Magnus Sigurdsson + 49.3% Matthew Shake Pryzby + 40.7%
@@TraderLionif you manage to get him on, make sure you ask him on how he times the market and how he handles the mental aspects of trading. He never really goes into these things in the videos i have found.
@@borsbossen As far as I can tell, he just always uses the same scans, looks for the same setups. So he doesn't really time the market, but the market dictates how many setups are hitting his scans.
@jayhamilton7573 i saw one video where he said that he mainly checks the Nasdaq 100 and that he wants to see an uptrend where the 10 day is above the 20 day and at least one of them is rising (preferably booth). It would be interesting to hear him elaborate on his situational awareness routines.
I really like Richard's interview style. He speaks just enough to help his guest by giving background, summarizing, moving the conversation along. He lets his guest speak and you can see him really listening calmy and give meaningful responses. He is a calm, humble and emphatic interviewer
Marios spoke like an alter ego of any struggling trader maturing into a master trader. Rare to find such honesty and clarity in his thought process not about teaching the art of trading but the balance you need to live life along with. We lose ourselves in the process to make it happen in trading but remember the words "don't be in a hurry to build the mastery" Golden nugget "If you make 50% return in a year for a decade, your grandsons will thank you." So decide your approach towards trading according to your personality or psychology. Thank you Richard and Marios for this one, clearly one of my favorites too!
I would add , It is good idea for any trader when you make a 10 - 20 $ profit per day then just stop trading for that day and prepare for the next day. I learned from my experience, It is better to gain very little than to lose big amounts from your capital specially in sudden distribution days which happens all the time specially in premarket times. One thing is real that this stock market is not build to make you rich. It is a game of institutions and smart money.
"I have to find the things on my own" - That's the keystone statement right there. At some point you have to fly your own flag and make an independent run at it.
The best summarization of momentum style swing trading, so many concepts I've put together on my own studying a lot of the traders he mentioned but he explains how to tie it all together. this is extremely helpful and so much valuable information packed into one interview.
When he said the third category of books that I love the most are the ones we write ourselves I was like woah mind blown he’s right. Those are the ones that were written with blood sweat and tears.
Thank you Richard for this interview you did w Mario. If not the best for sure top 3. In the beginning of the interview he was showing a yellow book but I didn’t get a chance to see which one was it. Perhaps you know which one it was. Unless I run into him since I spend half a year in the states and half in Greece and I live only 25 min away from him . More then 3 hours well worth and spend for sure
Here is another one who is undergoing the times that Marios had been going, thank you Moglen for your precious videos on this channel. So much appreciated, from South Korea!

Thanks Richard for this interview. This is one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Marios seems like such a genuine person who went through the struggles, most of us are going through, and I certainly resonated with his feelings. I loved the part in which he said life outside trading is more important and most of us get stuck inside this bubble. Once you achieve mastery trading is all about your mental strength and going through several periods of emotional swings. Thank you for the great video.
This episode of the interview was truly amazing. The interviewer enthusiastically shared many of their own settings, and I am very grateful after seeing them because they are very practical. Thanks
If you've watched Kris' Swing Trading schools and studied, you can see his influence on Marios. Cool to see their similarities, both started as day traders and incorporated day trading methods.
Great👍👍. Just mind blowing that he is so far away from Wall Street and generated massive returns. It must be the beautiful weather in the Mediterranean that keeps Marios focused. The weather is always beautiful in Greece...👍👍👍

Way to go Marios! Admire the way your strategy is all about the long run & built to handle max pain without much damage - very smart! Awesome detailed info clearly outlined.
interesting as usual, what got my attention is “writing a book for himself “. i do the same, it is my way to remember things and retain knowledge. i summarize key books, interviews and presentations.. i find it extremely helpful. i am sure some people might not need that but i will forget everything next week
Wow, Richard! Every time I think I watched the best interview on this channel, you keep surprising me. Great work as usual, and great accomplishment by Mario. I think it’s about time to have an interview with the GOAT (Qullamaggie) himself!😊
It seems like Marios don't really care about breakout volume. Am I right? Because from the video, some of the trade that he entered those volume are just between 50days average.
Richard, thank you so much for these interviews. I just found your channel and I'm learning a ton from it. However, one question would help me tremendously and that is what platforms are your guests using to trade and any other websites they use regularly. Thanks.
thankyou so much Richard for this great interview. it helped a lot in our trading journey.. also richard if possible try to arrange one interview with Afzal lokhandwala sir.

Great interview so far (I am only 25% though and I am pretty sure the best parts are still in front of me). BTW, question: how you recognize a quality finance relate channel? answer: free from finance spam/scam. (I am aware that must be pretty hard work - big thank you for that! And keep it that way please!)
Every product we put out, free or charged, is put together with incredible effort and provide the best value to user. Glad you're enjoying the channel! 🙌🏼
Long-term investing improves your day trading because the macro swings influence what happens on 5min chart. Day trading is great because you 100x your experience by taking more trades. I use my day trading experience for sharper entries. I can also trade around a bad position to reduce the damage.
If you close out all your positions before the end of the day you still get 5% on money market funds. Keep my money in short term t bills and borrow money for trading for the day. At least that’s the way I run one portfolio. It seems to be the least open risk currently because that account is always in cash at the end of the day. This works well as long as interest rates are somewhat worth wild.
When I set the 21EMA on my 15 minute charts in extended version , the touching areas of price to that moving average line does change and the chart looks little bit different. So in the extended version, the premarket and post market candles are also included and some of those candles are dots. What to do to get exactly your same 21 EMA on 15 minute chart? Should I turn off the extended tab?
can anyone share the volume scan criteria he showed, (at 1:04) i could not see it clearly on my laptop, i believe it was volume as a percentage of a 52 week high. thanks
Great interview! Maybe I missed it but when he buys his gap up...where does he put his stop since the low hasn't been established. Does he wait for a low on the initial 5 minute or 30 minute bar? How does he establish his initial risk to determine position size?
I wish he said what broker he uses, because trading US stocks from Europe usually have high commissions and currency conversion costs. 500 trades in a year for me would be over $10000 just to my broker. On the other hand maybe it helps because it prevents me over-trading.

At 53:54, the "weekly gainers" scan shows only 140 results. Why? Is it "weekly gain over 30%"?
You can play around with the % gain you want to see, but 20-30% is a good threshold.
