Though we all know I (Michelle) don’t walk alone, I packed my backpack as if I was walking alone so others could see what I would take. What do you think?
I love my skorts! I have several favorites from Duluth, Athletica, and REI. Just look for one with UV protection, and one that will ring out easily when you’re hand washing. Hand wash it a few times at home and see how it works and how long it takes to dry. You don’t want anything too thick or too heavy.
Great! I have to try on the flights port from Duluth that I absolutely love. It’s a little big on me because I’ve been losing weight. But I have one from Sam’s that I absolutely love. It’s quick drying, water resistant and super comfortable.
@ oh, I’ve never seen any at Sam’s Club! I would totally snatch some up if I saw them there. As long as you feel like they fit well and will handle handwashing, that will be great!
Yes, I wear a full size bigger but I hike in the summer and I tend to swell a lot. The standard recommendation is at least a half size bigger. I hope that helps!!
Yes they do! We stay in a combination of hotels and albergs so I bring it. Also, I use shampoo to hand wash clothes. But you won’t need it if you’re only in hotels.
Since we travel in the summer, we only take sleep liners. However, even if you’re traveling on a shoulder season, the lodging places typically have blankets. Here’s what I take: amzn.to/3Vtg0w2

Are your hiking shoes bigger than your normal size?

@@CruisinwiththeColemans thanks, l'm planning summer.
@ wear your shoes awhile, make sure you’re comfortable and your feet don’t slide around.
Great video! I'm planning on staying in hotels instead of albuerges. Do hotels provide shampoo? I have very short unfussy hair. Thank you!

Do you take a sleeping bag?
