I 100 percent agree. He makes to many excuses when he plays bad instead of owning it. Everyone has bad days but you have have grace if your going to put yourself in the public eye.

Some issues for Micah: 1) Plays wide open courses in the sunshine, rarely tests himself on tight courses in difficult conditions. 2) Too much matchplay ruins your course management. You go for everything, driver off every tee. Needs to learn that a 280 straight two iron beats a 340 wild drive every time on a tight course. 3) The world is full of long hitters. It's meaningless if your short game isn't up to it.

Micah is a recreational golfer, the same as most RUclips golfers, George Bryan maybe the only exception. Pro golfers are pro golfers before they do anything on RUclips. RUclips golfers are recreational golfers. Why anyone would expect them to compete with pro golfers is beyond me.

It’s fair that he didn’t have his best game, but his average in 20 competitive rounds in low level tournament/mid level is 80. He claims to be a scratch or plus handicapper.. it’s cap. He’s near scratch at easier wide open courses. I feel for the guy and I feel like all the hate forces him to put more pressure on himself and unfortunately his mental game is not the best.
If you follow Bryan Bros, you know Trashkins and Jerge have been playing against each other for a while. Jerge never should have coughed that up, definitely feeling the nerves. Matt has the experience and hit a elite shot to win.
Micah is a great guy, met him at the GG desert open this year, talked to him for a few minutes and he was a cool guy. But god forbid we put people's morals and characters above an inconsistent golf game, which btw he is still better than 99.9% of amateurs out there. If his worst round is an 86 on the same course George and Matt Adkins two bonafide pros shot 69 at, Micah is still a great great talent
Did it ever occur to anyone that because Micah is always playing with Busta, Grant, bryan bros, that he is really just a great guy despite his golf game? I mean those boys I mentioned are literally some of the most chill in the business. It's not like Micah carries a huge channel so they aren't using him to grow, it just means Micah is a great guy
I’ve never seen him break par in any competitive round ever. He’s the one who pumps himself up like he some aspiring Pro. Which he is not, he’s not even a scratch golfer. So if you put yourself out there, like he has criticism is warranted.

When someone says that publicly, and then MELTS DOWN in EVERY major event that would forward that goal unlike all others in the event, some people will point it out. Micah seems to be a great guy. That being said, it's hard for me to really back a dude who thinks he has the potential to be a pro who isn't better than several of my friends (though I will admit is EASILY better than me. I have prospective little different probably than most. I've only been watching RUclips golf for maybe 3 or 4 months. I've never watch a good good video until maybe a month ago I just don't like alot of their personalities. So I'm not bais about Micah for leaving good good but Micah does come off arrogant. Like he's better than you. For him to be able to hit a 330 yard carry drive, he is very average when I comes to a low handicap or scratch golfer. I like wesley george and grant because they don't take themselves that serious they're relatable
Yea the main difference between Micah and Grant when they left GG is Grant left to pursue his own youtube career. Micah left to chase "Pro" golf. Everyone with half a brain knew he didn't have the game or the mental strength to play even on the KF tour, even though he acted like he was significantly better than the rest the GG group. So people saw it as a cop out on his end.
Lost interest in Micah a long time ago. Has that 'look at me' thing going, sorry but he's just a boomer off the tee and short game is not up there at all. He needs to start putting himself out there and playing either quality players (non RUclips) or doing like break 75 like Rick of the back tees on proper well known tough courses, not even tough, just quality. Got bored with Grant playing short open courses hitting driver to greenside and playing sub 150 yards Par 3, yes that yards. I play a local course here in Oz , the par 3's are 170m plus(187 yds) and the one can play 220m (242 yds) into the wind on Sat comp day. ill take Micah serious when he actually puts himself out there.... get him on Hilton Heads, Pinehurst No2, Bethpage etc wouldn't care if he shot 86 there it be entertaining and try value...
I'm very disappointed in all the hate and negativity towards Micah Morris's performance in the MB qualifier. Micah is a great person and has more golf talent and ability than 99.99% of his detractors will ever have! Most of these hater a-holes have never broken 90 in their entire life and never will. The road to professional golf is full of defeats, embarrassments, setbacks, heartbreak, injury, disappointment and pain. To succeed you have to embrace the suck and continue the grind.

Seriously, do none of these haters understand how Golf works? RBC Heritage, Scottie Scheffler win -19. Nick Dunlap finishes at +6. And that doesn't even include the players that didn't make the cut. There is always a huge disparity between the winner and last place players in any given tournament. Even any given round, there is always a huge disparity. first round JT Poston finishes 9 under and Keegan Bradley finishes at +4. That is about the disparity we saw between the winner and Micah. Grant had a horrible round, but I still think he's one of the best RUclips golfers.
