My dad graduated high school with Tracy. They played football together and everyday he would bring his guitar to school and my dad and all the other guys would make fun of him and he said “one day I’m gonna be famous!” And it’s crazy to see that he did become famous.
I remember my dad listening to this song missing his parents. Now I listen to this song missing him.
Does anyone else listen to this song and just bawl your eyes out? It reminds me of the way my dad talked about his childhood in the 50's. I miss him so much. Think about him every day
Young people, cherish it, it flies by so damn fast!
Just a killer song. Hits different when you get a few years under your belt.
To the young people out there...listen to this song. Somewhere down the road you will be passing this along to a younger generation. Listen to what Tracy is singing about.
This is when country music WAS country music.
I lost my dad this last year in 2022. This was his favorite song. Now he’s beneath a maple tree. I Love you Dad ❤
I remember when I was a kid hearing tracy lawrence, brooks and dunn, alan jackson, and alabama on the radio almost everyday. I'm 24 now, and all I can think about how these days were colored different, and I miss it.
So September was two years that I lost my mother. I will be 45 here in a few months.. this was the last song that my mother made a comment on. I posted it to Facebook and she had said you know that this song is so true about time. Marching on and now every time that I hear it I can only think of my mother heaven gained a beautiful angel that day and I pray for everybody who is also using this song and their memories of the people that they loved that they have lost
Time marches on, but this song is timeless🔥
I was 23 years old when this song came out. The music and the words took ahold of my heart. I am 50 years old now and I still feel the same way. This song tells the absolute truth about life and everything changes. It is really great
I remember sitting in my truck during lunch break listing to this tape, knowing how true it was. I was 26 when it came out, I'm now 54...crazy.
I have an original copy of this album. This is easily Tracy Lawrence's best song. Written by Bobby Braddock, who I'd like to thank for writing a song that really resonates for everyone. I've been losing touch with a lot of people as time goes by, and on top of that, I recently lost a dear friend whom I've known since my childhood, I won't reveal his name or his cause of death out of respect for everyone's privacy, but I will say that he was one of my best friends, and they played this song at his funeral. Time really flies by, this song's title says it all!
Jesus Christ is Savior. That will always be . Can’t say no more or any less . It is simple the words in the Bible are living .. I am thankful for Holy Spirit it’s the way to the truth . Honest
Another favorite song that Tracy Lawrence sings! Time just keeps marching on….!!!❤❤❤
This is my Mama's song God bless 🙏 her, may she continue to watch over the family and guide me in life,
I agree once you are past eighteen it flies
Still absolutely one of the best songs, ever! 🙏
