A little more context. My mom died from covid. We had to watch her expire behind a glass door. Not trying to pile more problems on you Cman, just appreciate your mom while she's still here. ❤️

Awe, you are the best son! It's hard watching a loved one go through this. I love your positivity and creativity. And seeing you make your mom laugh is precious! Does your mom like listening to music. Heard music/singing etc and taking part can be encouraging for people with dementia. 🙏
Yeah every often she turns on a Elvis concert or some other concert or performances to listen to.
It's good to hear the nostalgia of the music she listens to

Maybe she wanted you switch the channel to 5? It may have been something she had scheduled on a certain day; a game or tv show in the past. It might be helpful to play cards or memory games to help keep her mind engaged. All my blessings to you and your beautiful Mama.

No the words aren't anything. We speak our language to each other on occasion.
Dementia is rough. They swing in and out of cognition. We are dealing with my ex’s mom for the past year. Some days she doesn’t know who her husband is, which is heartbreaking because he is so good to her and they have been so close for 25 years.
Did you think to check her glucose levels? Maybe something was off during her spell🤷♀️
