Very much true, but the store is marketed towards teens and preteens thats is why the sizes are small. Why is there only one size is another conversation. But we have a lot of smiliar stores in eu that have very very small sizes. Pull&Bear, Bershka, New yorker fall into the same category.

literally nobody has an issue with brandy being a petite store. what people have an issue with is the fact that it’s not marketed as or stated to be a petite store. the tags literally say “one size fits most”, which is okay and true for something like socks, but not something like jeans. and the fact that it’s for teens makes it worse. teens are much more prone to developing eating disorders from outside influences, such as brands that their peers buy from and idolize not selling their size and effectively boasting about it. also this woman is not even close to “plus size”.

I totally understand the hate that people don’t like brandy Melville because of their sizing, but as someone who has always been very skinny, it’s very hard to find clothes that fit me well. Brandy Melville is part of the few stores that fit me. Yes, they should be more inclusive, but also still be inclusive to smaller sizes. Many people think about inclusivity as making bigger sizing, but this usually impacts smaller sizing for people like me. 😊

The one size isn’t made for exclusivity. As a bigger person I know that it’s hard to find my size in stores. That’s why stores that sell plus size clothing are really great. It’s the same thing with brandy. So many small and petit girls can’t find their size in stores. Yes it’s easier than finding plus size clothing, but that doesn’t mean that it is easy. There are some girls that are just really thin and can’t find their size in stores so a brand like brandy that sells small sizes is great. Stop acting like body inclusivity doesn’t go both ways.

Actually the problem isn’t that it fits petite girls, my bsf is small and skinny and has trouble finding clothes that fits her and so brandy melville is a great option, the problem is that there’s only one size available and that they claim that size fits everyone. I agree stores should have smaller sizes and different shapes of clothing to fit different body shapes but to be that exclusive? I find it ridiculous. And let’s not forget how the ceo of the company said they wouldn’t hire a colored person neither someone who isn’t skinny

brandy is obvious in showing their dislike towards bigger people and colored people. went in and got mad stares. im skinny and the clothes fit but my face looks chubby and I was wearing baggy jeans and a baggy hoodie. so obviously they thought I was too chubby to buy anything. colored girl (absolutely gorgeous) working in the fitting room area and she looked distressed. idk if she was going thru something bc of the store but I hope shes alright now. clothes are cute and easy to shop, kinda sucks they got mostly "flat" girl clothes, they def need curvy friendly clothes

I’m a petite person, my bust is bigger than my hips if that gives you a view.
