I could honestly see it happening. Genos is known for underestimating opponents and overestimating his durability. He sees bakugo as just a kid when he could easily 1 shot genos if given the chance. The moment genos would stay still would open him up to howitzer impact, which has pretty much 1 shot a lot of bakugos opponents

Yea Bakugo is strong but Genos is both stronger and faster as you could tell from the fight with Garou in season 2, yea Garou was damaged but he tends to fight at his best when he is damaged or is in the worst situations like his fight with the toughest S rank heroes while inside the monsters base

(he does get pretty close though when his quirk awakened in the manga, but I doubt He could pull that off again, almost killed himself doing it and was way out of control)

I'm convinced that animators who animate fights with Genos in them have never seen One Punch Man. Everyone except for the C ranks are in a entirely different subset of power than MOST of the characters in MHA.

Anime version Genos in the Beginning of the Series is more or less equivalent to All Might, which both of the two could destroy mountains, this version of Genos is like 2 or 3 upgrades? from his Base that could destroy Mountains... So yeah... At lowest, BoS Genos could Solo the verse once he defeat All Might, 1 or 2 more Upgrades is more than enough, the current upgrade in the manga is over kill beyond all hope.
Genos was able to defeat a dragon level monster which even a low level dragon could wipe out mulitple cities and I don't think Bakugo was ever able to defeat someone on that level

After rewatching, my biggest gripe is that they are teleporting around like dbz characters.

Hahh?????can bakugou even avoid or block genos devastating "Machine Gun Blows" that can literally break bakugou, and Genos can move hyperspeed his current top is Mach 5 and Genos's fire power can blow up mountains and towns and is enough to even hurt Elder Centipede...i don't think bakugou could even land a hit or deal significant damage to Genos since his body is constantly upgrading
Genos could even be on par with almight already or even beat almight...in season3 you'll see how Genos's fire blast can withstand a blast from Psykos that can literally cut the Earth in Half
Anime version Genos in the Beginning of the Series is more or less equivalent to All Might, which both of the two could destroy mountains, this version of Genos is like 2 or 3 upgrades? from his Base that could destroy Mountains... So yeah... At lowest, BoS Genos could Solo the verse once he defeat All Might, 1 or 2 more Upgrades is more than enough, the current upgrade in the manga is over kill beyond all hope.
