You have to know this camera and love working with it, then everything will work out. Supporting that statement is this video. "TLR Lubitel 2 cameras, Lubitel 166U examples of black and white photos" Thank you for publishing!
Thanks. I am certainly far from the first to do it this way, but I definitely think having my own sample images at the end (along with keeping the overall review fairly short) makes for a more rewarding viewing experience, especially when there are plenty of talking only reviews (which are still good).
Great job I actually couldn't find almost any helpful videos for this model(166b) most of the videos where about the 166 + model which is pretty similar but not excactly the same soooooo thank you😊
I can't wait to get my own, I want to set up my own dark room amongst other things for my photography layout, it's been too long since I developed my own pics.
Great video! I loaded my lubitel yesterday with the Ilford FP4+ and somehow it was a very complicated process, as the 2 pieces that are supposed to hold it down were not doing their job properly: the roll was getting loose over and over again. Did you experience anything similar?
I just recd my Lubitel 166b in mail yesterday. Looks to be in good condition, just missing the camera strap links. I have some questions. The dial on the side that has a sun and light bulb what is it? how high of an ISO film have you used with this camera? How are you measuring shutter speed in combo with Iso of film? Ie 100 speed film set shutter to 100? last question- looking thru the glass to focus it must be thru the darken center circle? good video and Thanks in advance

Great, that is how to explain a camera like this, with sample images.

Thank you for this video. It gaves me the wish to have a 166B too, so I bought one and I love it. I hope you'll continue to make videos !
My first TLR was the Lubitel 2, awesome cameras. Ended up donating to the FPP way back in their first season.
They are definitely neat. I like that Lubitel 2 has a built in filter holder. I wish the 166 had that.
Very helpful video. I have just bought one of these cameras. Very useful having everything explained like this. Great pictures, by the way.
Great video, I have just bought this for myself for my birthday for around $50, I can't wait to get it and shoot some Ilford film too!
A very nice, thorough and informational review, covered everything that needed covering and more. Great video, thank you for making it!

Thanks very much for this video! I had some troubles to get a film into my Lubitel

The Seagull 4bi is a good camera too for under 100 bucks, focusing on a proper screen.
You could do a video on one
Brilliant review and fantastic shots!!!
Thank you sir!
Looks like a fun camera.

I did. Finally got it to stay put.. hopefully my shots will come out okay. I used a light meter app soooo. LoL
okay,no but you're videos are very cool because you show all of you're cameras and some pictures :):)
nice work!
please tell me your going to make more videos!
Looks fun. You can get these for £60, might well be worth it. Thanks for the vid
How did you convert the film to your computer?
If I have a film and wanted to print them out, where can I go?
Darkroom labs or even Walmart..

Great video :) I keep rolling the film past the number and wasting film.. like arrow, dot, dot, dot, .. arrgh!
I did on my first exposure. Just follow the circles or arrows. To the numbers ..
why have you stoped making videos?
+Esteban Costa I haven't had much time! Is there any kind of video you would like to see? Maybe I can make one!
nice!
