Retiming Guitar to the Drum Track - quick tip

Rather than locking everything to the grid and making it sound robotic and unnatural, try aligning tracks to each other. This will help to preserve the natural groove or feel of the track. Choose the most consistent and solid track to be the guide, and align other waveforms to it. Don't overdo it! You only need to make adjustments if it sounds like the parts aren't locked in together.
