This drama taught me that not all story is a happy ending. Nothing is permanent in this world even our love ones will leave when their time comes. It's just kinda sad that as the story goes by, a character will goodbye. This drama is a masterpiece even though It did not receive a huge attention to korean netizens
If not a special episode even a special scene will do. Just show that Wang So (whatever his name is in this life) and Hae Soo (Ha Jin in this life) somehow met. Like when Ha Jin was crying after seeing the painting of Wang So, just show that Wang So in this life gave her a handkerchief to wipe her tears or consoled her. Even that would do.

Yes Lady Hae was truly an amazing person, she's more than a character for me. It must have been so difficult for her to cope with the feelings that her husband is getting close to her cousin while she's about to die. The same cousin whom she considered her child. Yet again let's remember, there are few people even in real life who are made in a way that they will sacrifice their dearest for their dearest with a beautiful smile on their face, hiding all the tears of sadness that left their eys.😢

So I have a habit of doing a research on the show and the cast that I recently watched ...I got to know that this story was actually published online and it was first adapted into a show by China and they had made its season 2 ...but in Korean it was made later and has still has no new season apart from season 1

The most heartbreaking plot is they scarred hae soos's hand to prevent her marrying the emperor but in the she couldn't marry wang so for the same reason when he became the emperor..
But that wasn't the only reason she didnt marry. Only rich families could marry the emperor, and Hae Soo's family said she is no longer part of them after the hand scarring incident. She has no economical benenefit or contribution toward the country. Also the fact that she cant marry a man who has more than one wives (he married the princess). She looked at him as if he was a monster not long after, when he made the decision to kill her bff Chyoreon. I think I'm missing smth but I'll add if i remember.

After so long here I am crying like a baby to this song. I honestly feel so strongly the emotions the characters portrayed thought the serie. How they never got the chance to really experience love and care until it was too late, and how heartbreaking it was to lose everything when they had just realized their love. Every single episode is so heart wrecking and beautiful. The writer honestly deserved way more recognition for such a beautiful script, and of course the k-drama and actors for such amazing acting. This was just simply amazing beyond words.
its so hard to finish listening to this. in a way, even though scarlet heart was so beautiful and real, i regret watching it because it's so close to real life when the only reason i watch kdramas is to escape from reality. everything in life is happy until someone dies, it all goes downhill from there and you learn to live just for the happy moments. you learn to accept what happens to you.
And if you will look it, almost all deaths before and after Hae Soo, are all, if not due to, or in relation with Hae Soo, if she was not brought to the past, they would not have died.
I like the bitter ending. Its a satisfactory ending. In the Philippine Dramas, you will be sick of happy endings. You know it as the drama was announce that it will be a happy ending. The only question is how.

Till now 2019 I still can't move on from this drama. I'm still hope Season 2 will happened eventhought it's so impossible to happened... It's true what other people said, the most memorable story is the one with sad ending...

I'm currently watching this and this drama made me cry a lot. And this is the saddest k-drama that I watch. Highly Recommended to watch this.
The most heartbreaking plot is they scarred hae soos's hand to prevent her marrying the emperor but in the she couldn't marry wang so for the same reason when he became the emperor..
i wanted her to marry Wook or Eun. when Eun died i actually thought i can't live anymore......
Ngl a part of me is relieved she didn’t..everything was way too much to handle already.
But that wasn't the only reason she didnt marry. Only rich families could marry the emperor, and Hae Soo's family said she is no longer part of them after the hand scarring incident. She has no economical benenefit or contribution toward the country. Also the fact that she cant marry a man who has more than one wives (he married the princess). She looked at him as if he was a monster not long after, when he made the decision to kill her bff Chyoreon. I think I'm missing smth but I'll add if i remember.

3 years ago, I watched this drama and I kept on crying for days. I still remember the pain it bought me. Now, a lot of things has changed but this drama still hits that soft spot on my heart. Really depressing yet beautiful.

When the wife of 8th Prince died, this is where it all started the sadness and heartbreaking scenes.
After so long here I am crying like a baby to this song. I honestly feel so strongly the emotions the characters portrayed thought the serie. How they never got the chance to really experience love and care until it was too late, and how heartbreaking it was to lose everything when they had just realized their love. Every single episode is so heart wrecking and beautiful. The writer honestly deserved way more recognition for such a beautiful script, and of course the k-drama and actors for such amazing acting. This was just simply amazing beyond words.

its so hard to finish listening to this. in a way, even though scarlet heart was so beautiful and real, i regret watching it because it's so close to real life when the only reason i watch kdramas is to escape from reality. everything in life is happy until someone dies, it all goes downhill from there and you learn to live just for the happy moments. you learn to accept what happens to you.
Watching this has causing so many traumas to me :') but my fault, I always come back here to re-watch the sad scene because I miss this drama so much.

And if you will look it, almost all deaths before and after Hae Soo, are all, if not due to, or in relation with Hae Soo, if she was not brought to the past, they would not have died.
I like the bitter ending. Its a satisfactory ending. In the Philippine Dramas, you will be sick of happy endings. You know it as the drama was announce that it will be a happy ending. The only question is how.

Whenever this ost is played,even the intro got me crying,because I know,another character will die again,I tried holding back my tears,but it wouldn’t work,even after the kdrama has ended,whenever I heard this song again,all the sad parts just flows in my mind again and I would feel pain again somehow,not even watching the drama at the time I was playing the song
