    As an amateur with woodworker, i typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement ruclips.net/user/postUgkxrYREG3-7f1Aqk9ams3ZESRNzGnfdUtyQ . Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness woodplans. Works i now work like a genius. That is great!

    You had me at the thumbnail.
    I've made similar* 1 and 2 seater's, but the coffee table add so much chic and also complement the sofas.
    *similar in dimension, lumber size, style, but definitely not in build quality, wood species, finish. That's where similar ends 😆.
    You are an artist.

    Absolutely stunning design. I have worked with Iroko before many times in boat building and I can tell that this wood needs attention and maintenance. You need to protect it with Teak oil frequently as it turns greyish white in time.
    But nevertheless this furniture will last a lifetime. Great job thank you for sharing.

    Olá bom dia. Seu trabalho é maravilhoso. Me encanta as formas simples e ao mesmo tempo sofisticadas que usa como modelo para os diversos modelos que executa na mercenária. Tudo é checado antes do arremate final o que dá um acabamento perfeito limpo e visual incrível. Parabéns Senhor por um trabalho manual tão bem feito.

    It may have been asked but why iroko? the waxiness of the timber or for or sun and weather or just nice to look at, and how did the telk oil souk into the waxy timber for protection.

    • @KingPostTimberWorks
      @KingPostTimberWorks  4 года назад

      Iroko is very oily and some people call it poor man's teak, as it lasts very well outside. My client wanted something that would last but still be actually in budget. Teak oil is made to finish teak so penetrating iroko is just the same. It is essentially just a danish oil with more thinners to penetrate the oil/wax

    When your adding oil, does it always hve to be with a rag or can you use a brush, fine brush, loose brush, or tight weave. How much difference does it mke with oil polymer's. I'm just learning so thanks for entertaining my question.

    • @KingPostTimberWorks
      @KingPostTimberWorks  6 лет назад

      The oil will soak in so the idea is to just get it on. After 10 or so minutes any puddles should be wiped off as this will never dry espically if you add more oil over this. If you want to build a shiny film like finish you need to sand between coats going higher in grits. Then buff in the last coat with a clean rag.
